**************** of ******************* Appliance came to my home to repair my refrigerator on August 5, 2021. I explained to him that it was not cooling properly and that it alternates from warm to cool. He pushed the reset button on the temperature control, and checked the filter. He said it seemed to be working fine at the moment, and that it could be the a number of things including the "Compressor relay Starter." He then told me to call him if it does it again or goes out completely. He stated that if I should call there would be no charge as he stands by his word as well as his work. Then out of the blue he asked me if I had been saved by *********************** and handed me a pamphlet. I was a little disturbed because I was alone. He charged me $125.00 for the current visit. Which I paid in full with a check. He sent me an emailed estimate for the replacement filter for $96.00 which I purchased from Amazon for $35 and installed myself. On August 16, 2021 I called and he returned. I made sure my husband was home this time. He replaced the "Compressor Relay Starter and charged me $218.00. I reminded him of his statement on his prior visit of there being no charge for him returning. I reluctantly wrote him a check. After he left, I felt it was not in good judgement to pay him for something he should have done the first time. The next day I canceled the payment for the $218.00. Then August 21, 2021 he sends me and invoice #***** for $243 for various charges such as returned check fee. On September 7, 2021 I received an invoice for $310 then for $344 which are mostly late fees. And now it is up to $398.50 from a man who is supposed to begs respected when given his word or regarding his work. I personally think he has work to do on both counts. I do not believe he is entitled to any further payment on my part and would like him to stop sending me a ****. I will be happy to send the invoices and information you may need. This man has got to be stopped. Thank you for your assistance.

      BBB COMMENT BY SKW:

She stopped payment on the check. I have no idea why she stopped payment on the check. I've texted, called and email her and never reached her. She has a warranty and they gave her the money back. She said she was on her own and I could not find anything wrong with it. I took a guess and put a relay on it. I had not heard back from her since. She can go on and set up  a service order/ appointment

or at the office ************* or my cell phone ************

She has a pending **** because she stopped payment, she needs to pay that **** before I come out to her house.

I am rejecting this response because: He wrong on his statements regarding why I stopped payment. My warranty company would not issue a refund for services until they received a professional receipt instead of an emailed notice. it wasn't until later that he suddenly developed a professional invoice in the form of a **** to me. I have not received any money from my warranty company for the date in question.  Also, I don't understand what he means by "on my own" as my husband was present. And he knew the relay was out on the first visit and did not fix it. I have all of the documents to support my complaint, however, I am unable to upload them. Would it be possible to mail them via ***** If so, to what address?

      Sincerely,
