In November 2022, MT Custom Concrete was hired to pour epoxy floors in our new home. A month later, because of bubbling and pits, they came out to "fix" the floor. They sanded it and repoured it, but to save time and money, they cut corners and only repoured the top layer and did not redo the gray streaks to attain the color we had agreed on. So the second floor came out basically pure white (think sterile operating room) rather than white with dark gray streaks as agreed upon. In addition, they poured only the exposed areas, so there were obvious pour lines around all the appliances and in each doorway. There were additional bubbles and divots, and because they didn't clean the floor first, there was actually an 8 inch hair sealed into the middle of the kitchen floor. There were also permanent "sweep marks" where the epoxy was not smoothed out. After contacting the owner ******* and getting no response we decided to pay for new flooring ourselves because we were so embarrassed about the way the floors looked. When the new flooring guys came out, they couldn't do anything because ******* had sealed the baseboards to the floor on the second pour and they were unable to remove them to put in the new wood floors. It took an entire extra day to come up with a new plan that involved considerably more labor just to put down new flooring. ******* never denied that he did a terrible job on our floors, but also never offered to come out and look at them or make it right with us. We hired MT Custom Concrete to color stain& seal our pool deck. Within 2 months it was peeling, apparently due to him not getting up original seal first. I have texts where he says he doesnt know why that happened and saying he will take care of it. We are almost a year since originally done and now he wants me to pay for his poor workmanship seal to be removed so he can redo it. Needless to say, I am hugely upside down. I paid him $1469 for the job and now will have to pay over $6k to have his poor job removed and then redone.
