09/02/2021 I received dental care at Northpark Family Dental, I believe it was 2 or 3 cavities. At the time, I had dental coverage from two different providers on my parents insurance plans. A few months later, Northpark family dental told me I owed them money. I had been with this dentist for a couple of years, and had never owed on a single thing I had done. In that time, I know they switched ownership. I knew something was wrong, and so I had my mother call and talk to the people in the office since i was her dependent at the time and it was my parents insurance and my mom has a lot of experience with these issues. After a few calls, they said I didnt end up owing anything and it was fine. I havent gone back since because of this issue. Today, 11/30/2022, they mailed me (to my parents house, not my address anymore) a bill for the same amount they told me I owed over a year ago. I have received no calls, no texts, no emails about this issue. At this point, I have gotten married, moved, have different insurance, etc. and Im really not sure what the resolution to this issue is. I dont want to call them tomorrow, and them tell me I dont actually owe anything and then in a year get a call from collections and it absolutely wreck my credit.
