had a pool built by Denise along with two other families that have come to us with their experience as well and it was the worst decision! Denise makes promises before starting the project then doesn't follow through! She destroyed our entire irrigation system, front and back after she promised us she would make sure it was good to go and they would fix it. (we have proof on security camera and text)She also destroyed our fence and told us they would put it back together the way it was and she's failing to keep that promise as well. She had her guys come out and pull forms around our concrete and they literally took out only 1/4 of it, so we had to do all that ourselves and she still charged us full price for it! Do we did the work AND paid her for it!We specifically told her to NOT haul off dirt as we needed to keep it to put behind our retaining wall and she did it anyway and charged us $1200 for it! She had drains put in and they were not put in correctly so now all the water or rain drains backwards onto our concrete and stays stagnant and will not take responsibility for it. She also put in a "overflow drain" and again was put in where any water from the yard drains into the pool! Our pool filled up with mud so it had to be drained and cleaned and refilled. It's been a total nightmare!!! We were so excited about our new pool and she pretty much ruined our excitement! We are in the process of a lawsuit. This is just half of

      Business response

      06/28/2024

This is in response to the complaint filed by *********************. What she failed to show were the pictures of the mud that came from around the retaining wall that they built. My company did not build that. The overflow pipe did allow dirty water to come into the pool from that heavy rain storm several weeks ago. I was there the day she notified me with material to cap it. She asked me not to via text when I got there  that her landscape company would take care of it.
I agreed to hire a company to drain and clean the pool. It cost me $1,000. This was after they had not paid me the over  $16,000 they owed me. Invoice sent to them around 5/27/24. I asked to meet with ***** and ***** in person to discuss. ***** refused to pay me and told me to get off his property. They have still not paid me for that final invoice. Over 30 days now. A lien has been filed.

You can also see from the text below they were aware the dirt was being hauled off as I asked for them to move a vehicle. They also paid the invoice for having it hauled off without issue.

You can also see from a text below how complimentary of me and my crews she was.

My contract and spec sheet on the project states that I do not cover irrigation repair. They were aware of that from day one. My crews did not touch the irrigation in the front yard.
They told me they had issues with their irrigation system unrelated to the pool project.

I think they have come to this point because they dont have the funds to pay for the project. I filed a lien last week after I tried  numerous times to reach them via text, email, phone. They would not respond.

They also slow paid and short paid throughout the project. At one point I held off on proceeding because they did not have the funds to pay.

She sent me a demand letter yesterday. Which I turned over to my attorney.
