Visited Oklahoma Er and hospital 4 times total in 2022 for myself and my daughter for Covid tests. January of 2023, I received a bill from January of 2022. A year later. I paid it. February of 2023 I received a bill from July of 2022. Called them to see what was going on and why I’m only receiving bills a year later, especially for Covid tests. They blamed Covid for being behind. Called my insurance and they said I shouldn’t have to pay anything that they covered it all. The lady said she’d call to figure it out. We’ve been at it back and forth for 3 months now with no luck. Today I received the same statement from January of 2022 that I paid. Called the billing company and they said they applied that to December of 2022 statement (which I haven’t even received yet) This place is a scam. Read all the reviews on it. Please can y’all help and do something. Times are tough and these people are just ripping people off. Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us for a response on complaint# ********. I have reviewed all accounts in question related to this complaint, below are my findings.
I have read and understand the BBB may publicize this response. Per HIPM compliance, this response will not contain our patient's names, DOB, ***, account numbers, visit dates and reasons for visit. The patient is welcomed to contact our billing office Monday - Friday and request to speak to a supervisor for an escalation of review and detailed information if this response does not meet their expectations.

After audit of all accounts in question, I have found statements submitted to the patient(s) are correct per the claims processing of their medical insurance. We honor all INN claims processing and apply Copay, Coinsurance and Deductible per the patient's benefit plan as stated on the Explanation of Benefits received by their ***************** thus the reason for statement mailed to the patient(s).
I want to express my sincere understanding and apology for the inconvenience this may have caused our patients. The ***** pandemic, unfortunately delayed claims processing not only for the Hospitals but also the Insurance companies. This has not been an ideal situation for Oklahoma ER & Hospital who strives to provide excellent patient care as well as a pleasant billing experience.
At this time, a thorough audit is being conducted and future statements have been stopped until issue is resolved. Patients are welcome to contact our *************************** at ************** Monday- Friday 08:00 am - 04:30 pm CST.
