Had to update insurance information. I called their customer service number ************ and spoke to a ***** During this call I heard a barking dog and a crying baby. In this day and age where your information is being stolen I did not feel this was a secure call. Is this normal practice?Business response

Our company places the highest importance on maintaining the security of our patients personal information.
Like many other companies, our call center staff works from home in secure office spaces. In this case, the muted sound of the neighbors barking dog and our associates crying baby were heard on the call.
We reiterated with our associate the policy regarding childcare during business hours; she does have childcare at home.
Again, our company maintains strict security procedures and strives for professional handling of all caller inquires. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the background noise picked up by our associates microphone.Customer response

i am not liable for this debt with charter communications, I do not have a contract EM Strategies,LTD, they did not provide me with the original contract as i requestedBusiness response

There is not a date of service or account number in the complaint but I located 1 account in our system for *************************. The date of service was 1-10-2021 for physician services at the emergency room at *********************. There was no insurance information to file; 2 statements of charges were sent to the patient with no response. It was turned to our internal collection department on 5-18-21 and they called the phone number listed for the patient on 6-15-21 and left a voicemail requesting the patient call us back. We issued 2 more statements with no response and the account was turned to ********************** collection agency on 7-28-21. I contacted MCG today to verify the account and confirmed with them that they are not associated with Charter Communications. Our debt is still listed with MCG. There is no record of the patient requesting verification of the debt so I have sent the documentation to MCG to provide to the patient. Please let me know if there is any additional action required. Once the debt is satisfied it can be removed from the patient's credit report.Initial Complaint

EM Strategies has been extremely unresponsive or helpful in dealing with a medial claim for my husband, *********************************. At the date of service, 10/13/21, we were covered with Cerner ******************** who is a third party that handled our health claims. As of Wednesday 11/30/22 Cerner ******************** will be permanently inactive. As seen in the attachments of explanation of benefits and an email they paid this claim 11/10/21 to the provider and patient balance is shown as $0. EM Strategies is claiming we owe the full amount of the bill and is not helping us in the extremely time sensitive matter. We have provided EM Strategies with all the same documents and they're not helping and saying we are not providing correct information.Business response
