Check in was on 03/25/22. Check out was on 03/26/22. I booked my reservation through ********** and spent $194.29. This establishment committed to having my reserved room clean and ready for me at 1500 on 03/25/22. The room reserved had one king bed and a pull out bed on a couch. My 4-year-old wanted to sleep on the pull out bed and we didn't have any extra sheets. I took the comforter off of the bed and took the top sheet off to use on the other mattress. When I took the top sheet off, it exposed dry blood on the side of the mattress. It was not a huge amount but it was still blood. We talked to the night time receptionist and she apologized for the blood, and also for not having another room to move us to. She assured us that the manager would be present in the morning (03/26/22) and that something would be done for the inconvenience. We chose to stay as I could not have my daughter sleep in the car or risk falling asleep driving. We slept on the pull out bed and on 03/26/22 as we were checking out I went to the front desk where I met with the manager. When I spoke to the GM Karina she asked me if there was a mattress cover on it and then said because I booked through ********** there was nothing she was going to do. I asked for a full refund and I became very upset after I was treated with such disrespect over something that was not my fault. She ended up calling the police to have me leave. On 03/26/22 I spoke with ********** and they made me aware that the hotel has all of the control to give me the refund. They can not help me unless the hotel approves it. The hotel has denied my refund and refuses to speak to me about anything further. I spoke with the Health Department and they will be assigning an inspector to the establishment. I truly was not looking for a refund as I just wanted somewhere clean for my family to sleep. But the way I was treated because there was blood on the mattress is ridiculous and I will do what I have to do to make it right for us.
