12/02/2022 I took my 2013 chevy equinox in to get the recall done. Before I explain I wanted to say the staff is very friendly and got my car in. However when I picked up it acted like it wouldn't Rev to go then stalled and died it did that all the way home to pineville. I called to explain and they told me it was nothing they did, that it couldn't be. Well I tried to except that and figured it had to reset or something like the guy had told me. Shortly after the car became too dangerous to drive the cops had to push us of the road. Under inspection the oil that had been put in was all burned up and spilling out of the bottom of the car. The gasoline was gone too we put half a tank in before we came home from picking it up. The oil that we keep putting in just comes out. It was not like this when I dropped it off. Now I can't go even a mile without it smoking. I don't understand what happened. This was not the condition I brought my car in. It had its problems but none this severe. I need this resolved quickly. Also when I asked to talk to a manager Charles ****** claimed to be the manager and on the website he is not. ***** *******Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/12/16) */ Please find an attachment that lays out the customer contact as it took place, according to our Service Advisor and Service Manager. This vehicle had significant motor and drivability issues when it arrived at our dealership and it was acknowledged by the Customer before any repair was made. We regret the customer's dissatisfaction but we have no responsibility in regard to the mechanical condition of the vehicle. We merely performed a requested recall on the exhaust system and were not given an opportunity to address the engine issues. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/12/29) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) My vehicle drove fine before taking it, I have a mechanic that can verify it was a timing issue with 02 sensors prior to being it in for the recall. Not even 24 hours after I left the dealership did my motor seize up two mechanics have looked at it and verify it was not a "coincidence" and what happened was caused before I picked it up from the dealership. To remind the company my vehicle didn't have the problems before I dropped it off that it had as soon as I picked it up. I do not nor will I except their response they will fix this. Consumer Response /* (3000, 11, 2023/01/16) */ Ont the paper I signed for the warranty prior to the recall. Does that not mean anything also I didn't refuse a check on the engine, I already paid one tow bill the company can pay for another. This is not over and I'm prepared to sue this company for damages to my vehicle. I should jave never listened to the person whom argued with me on the phone very unprofessional.
