    On/ around 28 June 2021, I entered into a business agreement with *******************, owner of the Leather Shop in *******, **. We agreed he would custom make a pair of rodeo chaps for my son, ***********************. We paid ***** a deposit of $400 to purchase the materials. When we had not heard from him, we began calling and texting. ***** refused to answer us until we started contacting him on social media. This was around the end of August /first of September 2021. When he finally responded he said he wouldn't answer me because I kept calling, but I had given him almost three months and with zero updates from him on how things were going. Here we are over a year later, no chaps, no updates, and no refund! Furthermore, the measurements we provided over a year ago more than likely will be inaccurate due to my son has grown in over the year we have been waiting. I have had custom saddles, belts, and boots made from other small business owners, but have never had to wait this long nor have been treated in a very hostel manner as we have from *****. The only way we could get him to respond to us was contacting him on ************* Once he finally started replying on Tik Tok, which is the only way to get a response out of him, he stated that walk ins take precedence over custom pieces. This was not in the agreement we entered into! Had we of been told this upfront, we would not have chosen him as the maker of our product. A year wait is far beyond the statue of patience. At this point, I just want my money back and be done with him. If his workmanship is anything like his customer service then one can only determine that it will be low quality. ** I also filed a police report with Laurens County, ** ********************* When ***** found out about this he gave my son a few updates. The last update ***** got was he should have them done in two weeks. This was right before Christmas 2021. We haven't heard from hi since nor will he answer any calls.
