We hired a contractor to erect a building on our property. ************** was our contractor and he hired sub contractor for the concrete. ***** *** of *** Concrete *************) out of ******, ** came and prepared the ground for the concrete which was poured on 04/07/22. While he was pouring the concrete the concrete became unlevel in places and Mr. *** acknowledged there were humps and bumps in the concrete. He minimalized the issue and did not commit to coming to repair the issue. We then contacted **************, he came out on Saturday (04/09/22) to look at the issue and agreed the concrete was not level. While speaking to ************** ideas were discussed about liquid leveling or possibly grinding the bumps down. However, I contacted a respected concrete surveyor for which he stated the concrete liquid leveler or patching the concrete creates an issue and could cause issues later. It will depreciate quicker than a solid piece of concrete without any bumps/lumps. I decided to contact ************** on 04/11/22 and he was very upset and hostile. He was not interested in making the situation right instead he wanted to argue. Offered a refund for the concrete and continue building the shop, then would I be ok with leaving the concrete as is? I explained I was not trying to get anything for free just wanted the job done correctly. ************** contacted Mr. *** (concrete sub) which stated the electrical and the pipes that were run underneath the concrete was the issue. This was not discussed with us nor is the electrical the issue with the concrete. The concrete was $3,800.00 for which I was instructed to pay the sub contractor directly per **************. ************** then texted me stating "Give ***** *** a call for any further issues."
