I need to resurface my 1956 pool and made the mistake of asking Sierra to evaluate the current condition and estimate the repair work. On Tuesday we scheduled an appointment for Sierra to come to our pool on Thursday. Within ********************************************************************************************************* Appointment at 4:30. **** arrives at 4:37. Youre late. I couldnt find the front door.Do you HAVE one? Well, no ***** we DONT have a front door. Hmmmm, Im thinking. Do I really want to be resurfaced by a company that cant find the front and therefore thinks that I dont have one? A company where one person has no idea what another company member has already done on the job. Well, I dont think this is going to be a good fit, **** says. And then he leaves. No estimate. MY afternoon wasted. The up-front puppets muffed it. I wonder what the off-stage puppeteers think. Its unfortunate that companies the likes of Sierra persist. Dont let them come near your pool.

******,My office does a great job on communicating and confirming meetings. We informed you when you scheduled the meeting that you would receive an email 24 hours before your meeting to confirm that it is still a good a time for you and request that you confirm the meeting. No response from you. On 4/25, the day of your meeting, the office called you several times going straight to voicemail to communicate you. On 4/25 at 3:50pm, 30+ minutes after you responded to the office and I was unaware of your confirmation, I was ready to head your direction and texted you about your meeting to confirm as I was out in the field already.Word for word text message as follows:****: "Hi ***! **** with Sierra Pools. Still good for 4:30 today?"******: "**** this is the SEVENTH time you asked me to confirm. I'm ******. I'm here and I'm waiting for you."****: "We apologize for that. The office is sometimes persistent and our system was delayed informing me that it was confirmed. I'll see you in 30 minutes."I pulled up at 4:30pm and continued to walk up the driveway as it curves around the house to the garage doors where typically a front door isn't located. There isn't a walkway from the driveway assuming the front door isn't that direction. I am hesitant to walk on peoples grass in order to respect their yard as best as I can. I proceeded to walk on the flagstone cap of a retaining wall to see you standing with your hands on your hips near the side of the house by the pool and the conversation proceeds as follows:****: "Hi there. I couldn't find your front door. How are you doing?"******: "You're late!"****: "I apologize for this I couldn't find your front door. Do you have a front door?" (chuckling trying to break the ice)******: "OF COURSE WE HAVE A F****** FRONT DOOR!"****: "I don't think we are going to be a good fit for you."******: " I don't think so either."I turned around and walked back to my truck proceeding to call my office at 4:33pm to explain the situation. One of my jobs is to recognize hostile work environments for the safety of my crews. I appreciate your review to show light on a core value I hold true to.
