I purchased a new 2022 Alumacraft Competitor 185 FSX from Blackbeard Marine on July 28 My issues:1. the dealer lied about the boat having a transducer and battery charger on the boat. I told them I wanted the battery charger installed before I bought the boat. After I signed for the boat, he told me that they hadnt included the battery charger in the price. I would need to pay to have the battery charger installed ($700). I declined. When I asked about the transducer, the dealer lied and told me the transducer had been adjusted and was working. I later discovered that there was no transducer on the boat Again, they wanted to charge me to put one on.2. There are two trolling batteries on the boat. They replaced one, but left the other. As I was installing a battery charger, I discovered an old corroded battery that had reversed polarity on my new boat. This should have been corrected before the boat was delivered.3. The carpet on the bow is stained. I am sure that it did not come from the factory like that. I mentioned on several occasions that I would like the carpet to be cleaned. The dealer told me that their detail guy would clean it, but I am sure that the detail guy never set foot in the boat to do anything. I took the boat and decided to detail it myself. I cannot get the stain out. I have tried on 3 different Saturdays with little success. 4. The dealer still owes me a snap-in pad for the aft deck. Only 1 of 2 was present when I took delivery 5. When we took the boat on a test drive, the salesman did not follow ******s break-in protocol. He told me that his other salesman knew how to break in the motor. He drove the boat between 3-4k rpm with short bursts of 4.5-5k rpm. That is not what the ****** manual calls for and Im worried about any future problems that I may have as a result.6. The dealer never connected/set the fuel gauge on the boat. I have no way of knowing how much fuel is in the boat. This should have been done prior to delivery.
