I am attaching a few documents in regard to a recent complaint that was filed against our practice that is completely unfounded. The "complainer" **** ***** was seen in our office on 8-16-2023 complaining of tooth pain related to tooth #2-upper right second permanent molar that apparently she had filled at another dental office with a different dentist. I am attaching the clinical notes from that visit stating that Dr. **** recommended that she have a root canal in order to retain the tooth. The patient insisted upon having the tooth extracted instead of saving the tooth. As the clinical notes state, Dr. **** explained to the patient that if she wanted to have the tooth removed, she certainly has that right but we would be referring her to an oral surgeon for her to have the extraction of tooth #2 done. The referral information was sent electronically to the oral surgeon's office. As the note detail form states, the patient **** ***** called several times after she was seen in the office on 8-16-2023 complaining about various issues that simply did not happen. She posted a 5 STAR REVIEW ON ****** THE FOLLOWING DAY. Although she gave a 5 STAR REVIEW, the review was very damning against Dr. **** and our office. Frankly, the patient clearly has mental issues and was ranting on and on about things..that again..did not happen. Fortunately or unfortunately the patient removed the review from ****** on her own. She continued to call the office SEVERAL TIMES and was very abusive to our front office staff. She demanded over and over to have her records/x-rays sent to her directly...WHICH WE HAD EMAILED TO HER ALREADY TWICE.

Nothing occurred at her visit...the referral to an oral surgeon's for the extraction that she requested or anything else that we would have handled any differently. We refer patient's to several different specialists for various reasons on a daily basis. We would have restored her tooth...as Dr. **** suggested...BUT SHE CHOSE NOT TO.

The complaint that is noted on your report that she made pertaining to NOT GETTING HER COMPLETE DENTAL RECORDS is completely false. In fact, again, they were sent on two separate occasions within a day of her stating that that is what she wanted.

Unfortunately, in this day and time, people have the ability to put on social media absolutely anything that suits them in any moment true or false. While free speech is a luxury that we all should have and deserve in America, as in this case, penalized Dr. **** and our entire office staff that prides themselves in treating every single patient that we serve with the utmost respect. This respect was extended to ************** even though she continued to abuse our staff verbally by phone several times after she left our office for entirely no reason.

In closing, again, ************** was sent, via email, her complete dental records as she requested within a couple of hours of her request.

Thank you for your time and consideration going over this unfounded complaint by ***************

The first complaint didn't go through. This woman  is full of lies. I never received the x rays. She is lying. Dentist damaged.my gums permanently. I still have the protrusion where he jabbed my gums. The man is crazy and the office.manager is new and has huge anger issues and is obnoxious and disrespectful. As you can see above, I simply asked for.my x rays. This office manager defamed me. All she said is a bunch of lies.

2 weeks went by after my written request and no x rays tho they said they would send them. I called and the office manager said she would email them to me that day. Several days went by &  no x rays.  I called. She claimed she had emailed them. I even checked my spam. She lied.  I haven't complained about what the dentist did, but will now. I was set for a root canal which is more expensive than an extraction. They made me wait so long for the appt the pain became excruciating so I  asked for the extraction. They rudely told me they cancelled my appt  and I would have to come in weeks later for the extraction. That afternoon she called and rudely said she could get me in. The dentist stormed out of the room as I sat there. He said he couldn't work with my vertigo. There was a witness. I had taken medication so I was quiet. I have had braces and gone to a lot of dentists with no issues. He numbed me lightly 3 times. I wasn't numb. He blamed me for it and said if the fourth time didn't numb me he wouldn't do the procedure even tho I was in pain. He jabbed me so hard it felt like bone was crushing and I still have a protrusion there. He dug the needle in. I was ready to leave but the rest of it went ok. I still have the protrusion where he jabbed my gums. Another dentist mentioned it and was concerned. The dentist is a s***** and the office manager  has anger issues and is obnoxious demeaning and disrespectful.  They both have mental.problems. The second time I went, I just wanted my tooth out but no dentist could see me for months. I desperately gave him a 2nd chance.   The dentist told me the tooth was too close to the sinuses, tho he had pulled the other tooth which was in the same spot. He referred me out. He never suggested a root canal and if it says so, they added it. I left thinking he was not going to do anything. He referred me to a dentist that he knew could not see me for months..  He charged me $200.  He has similar complaints.

I wanted to add  things in response to the trashy response given by the office lady. People can fabricate mess online and she did and she was also rude to me in front of other people. If this office worker really emailed the x rays on the 18th then show proof. If she can't, then  don't believe her.  I wouldn't trust it to be factual. I had already sent a written request  for my x rays over two and a half weeks before I ever spoke to this office worker and I was still waiting for them when I first talked to her. She chided me over my use of the word 'he'   She kept saying 'he who?' and 'who's he?' She was completely disrespectful to me  after I  had just paid 200 for nothing. There are two reviewers  who complained they did the same to them and charged them for a referral or  service they didn't receive. Dentists should not charge for referrals. That should be against the law.  I never abused the staff as she claimed. I hardly said a word to anyone. ************** worker was hostile and in my face when she claimed  if I asked for x rays it meant I was going to another dentist. Its not true. She was assuming things. Weird. She argued. Not me. I did not get upset until days after she said she would send the x rays and didn't, but I wasn't rude. I had already waited about a month for them. I wasn't rude to her when I first spoke to her.  I wrote an honest review after everything. If she didn't like my review, she didn't have to read it. I've used a few dentists for 30 plus years. Never had a problem. I definitely do not recommend this dentist. I had started to put up a negative review when he jabbed me with the anesthetic, but was afraid something like this would happen because they have been nothing but retaliatory and defensive and accusatory. This dentist has a review in which the patient said he left the office and left his staff alone. He did not treat the patient, costing her money,. He has issues. I found a good dentist in another town,

Two more things. This office worker, apparently, thought when she spoke with me that this was my first visit. It was my second. My first visit was in 2022. I forgot to add that after the first visit they were going toske me wait to get the tooth pulled.  I was told they had a prescription for me at a pharmacy.  This visit was the first one before they pulled the tooth. I may have said I could take my own but I began feeling severe pain and wanted the antibiotic and some stronger pain meds and they told.me at the office before I left that  they were going to call in a prescription or already had called one in. I remember they had told me they would send a prescription to the pharmacy or sent one. I waited at the pharmacy for an hour at least so I wouldn't have to go back when the pain was worse because I really wanted to save the tooth but I just couldn't stand the pain . The pharmacist called them and so did I. It was a Friday. No answer. No call back. No answering service, either. Nothing. All they had.to do was call it in.. So irresponsible and unprofessional and callous. A dentist who doesn't care you are in pain or who creates pain shouldn't be practicing. People are not machines. If they decide they need pain meds or antibiotic to help inflammation or headaches from a growing infection you need to oblige. Not ignore them.

Sorry. One more thing. Because they did not respond to my request for some.pain.meds and the antibiotic I knew they said they had a prescription for, I ended up going to the emergency room and paying out of pocket **** dollars and got the antibiotics and stronger pain meds because I was hurting so bad  couldn't sleep or anything or adls nothing.  This is how they take care of people? It looks more like this is all how they line their pockets. They may seem nice but they act trashy..sorry but is the truth.
