I purchased a recliner from Wichita Furniture on 07-05-2022. One week later I called them because I was getting terrible sleep ( I have to sleep on the recliner because I am not able to sleep on a flat bed). They basically said there was nothing they could do because it was now a used recliner and they did not sell used recliners. I gave them bad reviews where ever I could find a place to leave reviews.A piece on the recliner was broken when I received it. I did not know this because it is on the underneath of the recliner. I finally managed to turn over the recliner and saw the piece of broken plywood. I contacted the maker of the recliner (Catnapper) and they said I had to deal with the furniture store where I purchased it. I called Wichita Furniture yesterday (08-11-2022) about the broken piece and sent them a picture of the broken piece.They called back today and said I would have to bring the recliner to the store for them to make the repairs. I am an amputee and physically can not bring the recliner to them. They said they could not do the repairs unless I brought the recliner to them or had someone bring it to them. They mentioned all the bad reviews I had given them so I think they are refusing to do the repairs in retaliation to their bad reviews. They are therefore unwilling to repair the product and in my mind are in breach of their agreement with Catnapper and with me. This should be a minor repair but it has potential to become a major repair in the future.I have no recourse other than the BBB.Please help me.
