      I bought a recliner one week ago. I have to sleep in it because I can not sleep in a flat bed. This Catnapper recliner cost almost $1,000.00. The longest I have been able to sleep in it was for 3 1/2 hours. I have to get up because my back is hurting so much. The store is unwilling to help me out at all. I will never use Wichita Furniture again!! I would rate them 0 Stars if it was available. The manager said they encourage customers to sit in the chairs to make sure they are comfortable. You can't tell in 5 minutes of sitting in a chair if you will be able to sleep in it all night.This is supposed to be a "family business." I would not want to be in that family if that is how they treat you. I would rate them 0 stars if that was available!

      I took my blind mother to this store last Friday March 18th, 2022. She was shopping for a recliner. She wanted a **** recliner in a cloth fabric. Since they did not have any she liked in the color she wanted, she looked at one that looked black to me in the store. We asked the salesperson if the recliner was black and she said yes. My mother decided to go ahead and purchase the recliner because the salesperson said they had two that had just come in and had already sold one of them. My dad signed the receipt for the chair after paying with his credit card and we told them we would pick up the chair the following week. Yesterday when we opened the receipt to call the store to arrange a pick up time for the chair we noticed they had written "Chocolate" on the receipt. We called to ask why it said that when it was supposed to be a black recliner. They said it is really dark *****. We immediately asked for them to refund our money since we have still not even picked up the chair and the lady said "All sales are final", but you can talk to the manager. My mother made several calls to the manager today before he finally took her call and she explained the situation to him. The store was lit dimly in the back side room and that is why we asked the salesperson what color the recliner was because it did appear black. He stated he would not refund her money nor try to make it right. The man was extremely rude and short with my elderly mother. Do not purchase anything from this store, they do not tell you all sales are final. It will be written at the bottom of your receipt after they have collected your money. The manager needs lessons in customer service. I want to warn everyone about this as I am assuming since we could not even get our money back for an item that had not even been moved from their showroom, that if you had a warranty issue on a piece of furniture you would get worse treatment than we had before we ever took the item home. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!
