      On Sunday May 14th I traveled to ******, ** for work on the Days Inn Hotel was booked by my company because we get a preferred rate. Upon arriving to the hotel I went to the front desk to check into the hotel and get the room key. After checking in I was giving a room on the left side of the building. I drove to the side of the building and began to take my things out of the car a young came down from the hotel steps and solicited me for ***. Looking around to be aware of my surroundings I notice people just hanging out and even saw some drug activity. Despite that I went up to the room and as I entered the room I noticed an old kind of moldy smell. The hotel room looked very low budget and I can't even say the bed was a real bed. I immediately reached out to my company's travel service so I could be rebooked. I did not feel safe staying at this properly. Once my company rebooked me at a different hotel about 30 minutes after arrival I went back to the front desk to return the keys and the manager simply checked me out the hotel and said I was good to go. I could tell he knew I would not be staying at the property.Now the hotel charged me for 3 nights at a total of $175 and when my company and I reached out about the payment the ** said there do not offer refunds. Not only is their hotel not up to par, I found the hotel's refund policy to be exploitative. After enduring these disturbing experiences, I made the decision to leave the hotel within 30 minutes of my arrival. This is an unreasonable policy, especially considering the unsafe and unsanitary conditions I was subjected to during my brief stay. This is clearly a predatory practice to still money from guest who are not familiar with the hotels in ****** **.The experiences I have outlined are not only unacceptable but also pose serious safety and health risks to any potential guests. Consumers should not have to endure such conditions, and businesses operating under such standards should be held accountable

      Sorry for his bad experience while he was at our property.  One thing we assure you that we don't allow any kind of drug trafficking and prostitution in our property. . We already have nearly 100 people in our do not rent list as we suspect that they are doing some kind of illegal activities. We have 32 cameras all over the property and closely monitoring what's happening in our property *************************************************************************************************************** to make sure that everything is satisfactory we have a no refund policy after check in. If the gust has any issue with the room. We are happy to move them to a different room. For any cancelation we have a 24 hour cancelation policy too.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I was not given the opportunity to take a look at the room before check in or I would have done so before hand especially with the things I saw outside of the motel. Having over 100 people on the do not rent list confirms there is an issue with the things that I saw and this motel is a target for those things. Instead of working to fix the problem this motel targets potential customers that do no know the area with a predatory refund policy. We all know it is very unethical to charge someone for a 3 days stay when they were only on the property less than 45 minutes contacting their company to rebook them else where. This must come to a stop. We can not allow businesses to target people in this way to make money.

      I was staying at this hotel for over a month and I had to leave the state for a family emergency (grandma passed away) when I returned I knew I had a balance owed and I agreed to pay that balance. Before I was able to I was checked out of my room and told not to return. When I went to pick up all of my belongings only my clothes were returned. I had several other items that were off high value in the room that aren't being returned to me by the hotel staff. I have receipts and also proof that these things were in the room. All I want is to pay my balance and have my things returned to me ASAP

      I book a room Saturday Night at Days Inn in Lawton Ok. I was on my way to the hotel when I got a call from one of my family members I need to return back home due to bad car accident! I call the hotel back on the number saying I needed to cancelled the guy told me I needed to call customer care at 8 am. Also try telling me I never call this number to reserved a rm I said no I call Days Inn number doesnt make sense. I call customer care in the morning at 8 am told them they said you need to call the hotel there ones that give you refund. I call hotel back well they still denied that I call on the phone, they said the boss wont be back for a couple of days I said give him my number and have him call me asap. I call back this morning I talk to a guy and he up hung on me and then call back no answer waited a few mins call again and a lady answer I explain to her well she said since I made a bad review and gonna tell *********************** I tell manager n hangs up on me she was going off on me that I was the one in the wrong! All I wanted was refund!I believe NO VETERANS SHOULD STAY AT THIS HOTEL wrote that on the hotel review! I am a veteran myself the way I got treated was unacceptable and I will let all Brothers and Sisters know! I would highly appeciate if I can this resolved. I was charge $155.44 which I never even got to stay in!
