Our water pipes were frozen this weekend. We were really fortunate to call Tiptons Plumbing.******** was very prompt responding our problems.The tech, ****, was right on time, explained the probable problem, was courteous and very professional.After four hours of exceptional work and advice, he resolved the issue.We will use Tiptons from on! I had a great experience with Tiptons. I needed an emergency job on a Sunday afternoon and first called a nationally-known company. They never showed up. I then contacted Tiptons. They responded quickly and told me everything upfront so there were no surprises. *** came to my house and was the ultimate professional. Replaced my under-the-sink valves and water lines, was so respectful, and gave me good advice on several other plumbing/home improvement matters. I cant imagine how I could get better service from anyone else. Very satisfied!

On 2/5/22 we had a water backup in the laundry room when the tub emptied due to a clogged sewer line. Both toilet bowls were unusable. Being a Saturday, many were called, but Tiptons was the only one to respond by the late afternoon. Knowing the service call was going to be $275 plus the repair, I accepted because my wife is handicapped and in no condition to drive to **** for toilet facilities until Monday. The problem was rectified by snaking out the house-side trap. It wasn't until one week later while emptying out my e-mails that I saw I had been charged $1286.00 for the snake and less than 30 minutes actual work. The going rate is $150 - $200 for this simple task. When I called the company for an explanation I got the actual individual who did the work. He said that I was fully informed of all expenses before they started. Maybe, but I'm 78 with a pronounced hearing loss and I can assure you that if $1286 for snaking was mentioned it did not register. I would have terminated the service call right then and there. My incredulity at the price prompted said individual to state that "I couldn't talk to him "that" way, and to call back Monday." The topper: When through, they left the gate open. Later, that evening our dog got out and was run over and killed on SE 89th.

I have used Tiptons Plumbing twice. The technicians were very professional and courteous. They promptly responded to the jobs. Do quality work. I will use Tiptons Plumbing again.
