Initial visit was February 7, 2024. Follow-up call 3/14/24 with doctor providing service and was advised results could take 3-4 months for full effect. Waited until near the end of May with negligible results. Called 5/24/24 detailing lack of treatment results with representative who answered phone and was put on hold. Representative came back on line and advised a doctor would return call before close of business that day; however, doctor did not return call. Called again 5/29/24 to advise no return call received on 5/24, but was forced to leave a voice message as no one answered the phone. Message stated I was suppose to receive a call back on 5/24 from doctor but no call was received. Called again 5/30 but once again no one answered the phone so I was forced once more to leave a message. It is now June 5 and evidently this company intends to ignore my calls to address the lack of results from their treatment.Business response

PT received his treatment on 2/7/2024. He signed an informed consent for the specific treatment listing the possible positive and negative side effects from the procedure. There is no guarantee on results nor was any guarantee given to the patient. There is at home post treatment care the patient has to stick to in order to achieve specific results. It is not mentioned in his complaint or in his discussion with our provider if he strictly followed those instructions. Pt did speak to the doctor on 3/15/24 in regards to his assessment that the treatment did not work. The Dr. advised the patient that results will vary and there is never a 100% guarantee nor was he promised one. Per the doctor's note the patient was confrontational with her on the phone. Patient asked for a prescription to an outside pharmacy for ****** and was advised we do not do that. Patient was not happy with that answer. We have not had any further communication from the patient. The patient received the service after completing an informed consent regarding the procedure as well as potential reactions both positive and negative of completing the procedure. He has received what he has paid for and is not eligible for any type of refund. This complaint should be closed in our favor as we provided the patient with all the information both through his consult with the doctor and through the informed consent and then we provided him with the treatment he paid for.Customer response

Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because:My original complaint specifically detailed this business failure to return calls. The physician failed to follow through on the promised call-back on 5/24/24, then the business failed to respond to subsequent calls/voicemails left on 5/28 & 5/30/24. Their response is filled with flat-out lies, attempts to point blame at me, and completely fails to address their refusal to communicate.
My signed acknowledgement related to treatment has nothing to do with their refusal to return calls.
The physician call on 3/15/24 centered around the expected timeframe for treatment results (up to 4 months per physician), my questions related to pill treatments aiding results (physician responded they could), a request for physician to write such script was refused, questions about this business advertising pill treatments on radio, but she again refused to offer this service so the conversation ended. Her statement about me being confrontational is a blatant lie. Is it not permissible for a patient to ask treatment questions at this business without the physician feeling confronted? Maybe we could listen to our recorded conversation, Im open to constructive criticism. But once again, this has nothing to do with my original complaint.
Statements questioning my at-home follow up procedures, which were followed, are in no way related to my complaint regarding communication.
So my request for a refund has nothing to do with the poor results of the treatment (I signed the paperwork) or any of the other deflecting nonsense in their response. The refund request is due to their total lack of regard for the individual patient (me) and their refusal to communicate despite my repeated attempts. Its hard enough to seek medical assistance for such a sensitive matter, but having to use the BBB for assistance makes it woefully worse.
Sincerely,

I went to the Oklahoma Men's Clinic in August of 2023 and was diagnosed with low T. After meeting with a PA briefly, I was introduced to *** the finance person in the office .... More appropriate title would be high pressure sales to sell you packages. I bought a package for 1100 that was for 4 months of treatment. I specifically asked *** what if it isn't right for me and her response was any unused treatments would be refunded. After my 6th shot I was feeling increasingly worse and quit taking the treatments based on my Doctor's ******* I called Oklahoma Men's Clinic and told them I wanted a refund and was informed I had to meet with the PA to get a refund, which I did. Then they sent in *** the sales lady and she was trying to get me to move my refund to a different product and I said no thanks. *** then told me she had to send this to the corporate office for approval and this was mid-october and nothing from them. I call back in December twice only to be told its still processing and they would call me back ..... but nothing. Here it is ******* and I call them and they now inform me I'm not eligible for a refund at all and that their policy has always been that , yet they told me multiple times that it was. This company is dishonest and deceiving and as soon as they get your money they are done and only draw syringes testosterone billed with a 500% upcharge . Stay away from this one size fits all company that gives everyone the same dosage regardless of shape, size or lab work.
