I've had my vehicle loan with first fidelity since Jan 2021. First few months had been fine. And then changes in loan personal. A total of 4 loan personnel in 2.7 years. My problem lays with a *********************** of the loans collection department. Starting around Oct 2022. I paid my payments. And for which ever reason the *** payment that they demanded for payments. Either were showing not paid. Or late. ****** has been very quick to report to the credit bureaus that I have now a total of 14 missed payments in 18 months. This destroying my credit. And refused to contact the credit bureaus to report the payments are indeed paid. Today on 11 29 2023 I attempted to trade my vehicle in on a new one and was denied due to the fact 14 missing payments were entered in to my credit file. When I have a text message string from ****** showing I have in deed have paid all of my payments. I have asked her on 5 occasions to please report the corrections. She has refused telling me it is my resto inform the credit bureaus of my corrected payment information. I need help in this matter. *******************************

************************ misunderstands what is reported to a credit bureau.  Credit reports are a reflection of a customer's payment habits, not a report on whether a payment was ever made.  The 14 late payments, in this case, were reported to the credit bureau when the customer was ******* or more late making their loan payment. First Fidelity Bank does not report payments that are less than 30 days late.  A system error or any other issue causing a payment to be late would not be reported unless the loan payment is 30 days or more late.

I had a car repoed with them in 2013. They hired a law firm call ********* ********************** to collect the money. Ive offered several times to try to settle. They tell me only the law office can handle this issue. Every time I talk to the law office I get a different story. I have been garnished for a year now. And they have collected **** or more from me. And after I called the law office today on 2-15-22 they said that even my offer of **** to **** would most likely be enough. They have stuck me in a debtors jail. The lawyer they have working my case is not standing on the original agreement of 10k to settle. The lawyer has also changed his story multiple times. The law firm also told me they have renewed the garnishment 2 times when they have not.

The original date of the loan was 9 years ago.  This customer voluntarily surrendered the vehicle.  He then requested that we give him back the vehicle, which we did.  He then told us he would surrender the vehicle a second time but did not do so.  He did not make any further payments.  ******** eventually recovered the vehicle a few months later.  His deficiency today is over $17,000 on the vehicle which is a substantial loss to the bank.  We offered to settle with him at $10,000 and we stand by that offer

It is unfortunate that we have not been unable to come to an agreeable settlement.  We have been trying to work this out with you  for many years.  If you would like to settle, our previous offer stands.
