On October 2, 2023, this company performed lawn mowing, edging, and tree trimming on a property I own in ****** in preparation for selling the property. My nephew ***************************** was who contacted the company to perform the work. He contacted them via HomeAdvisor. I was not present when the work was done, but was sent a couple of photos of the work. Based on the photos, **** paid ****** Stuart via Venmo.On Tuesday, October 3, upon inspecting the property (to do some other work), I found the back door shattered from an obvious rock chip. Also found a broken bedroom window, also from an obvious rock chip. **** attempted several times to contact ****** over the next several days. Every time, the call went directly to voice mail leading me to believe the number had been blocked.On Friday, October 6, I attempted emailing ******. As of today (October 11) I have received no response.Initial Complaint

I informed the employees of Stuart Lawn and Tree that I was moving last October and requested a quote to continue my services and my new home. The quote was never provided. This spring, I received no notification or request to renew my lawn mowing service. I contracted with another company to maintain the lawn at my new address. On ***** 15th, I discovered that Stuart Lawn had charged me for 3 mowings for ***** totaling $120.00. I contacted the owner, ****** Stuart and informed him that they had **************** at my old address and since I had not been contacted about renewing my services, I had gone with a different company and would like my credit card refunded. He apologized and agreed to refund the $120.00, informing me that it would be about 3 days for the charges to appear on my card. As of today, the charges have not been refunded and the company will not respond to calls, texts or emails.
