Brad started out really good. Only issue is that things would only get done 1-2 times a month. He gave us a bid sheet but what he was charging didn't follow each category he had listed and it was hard to follow. We built a metal home with a metal shop. He kept telling us we were in budget. When some unexpected expense would arise we would cut something out to make up the difference. After one year of the house not being done the bank called us and said we were almost out of budget and we had to file an extension. You can imagine our shock. I called Brad who initially said we r not that close and he would check on it. Called me back and said the amount he charged was right. We were left at the stage of sheeteock. He said it would take an additional $50,000 to finish the house. I told him we didn't have it. His response was "you don't have it or are you just being stubborn". I was devastated that we were now in a position where my husband and I had to finished the house ourselves. From this point on when we would ask some questions he would say we fored him. We didn't. We ran out of mo ey to pay him. The bank extended us 3 months and it took us every bit of that time to finish it. We did it for $20,000. Way cheaper than he was going to double charge us. There was unfinished work or things that he didn't write down like electric for the shop which cost us $7,000, electric to our island which is a botch job, window sills and I am sure there are a few others. I had a couple of other builders come out and every single one said we over paid. Regardless, we trusted him as he was a referral to us and he took us to the bank. I would not recommend this builder and if u do use him get every single thing in writing and itemized and also pin down a time frame for completion.

I had a very extensive contract with the customer which was signed by the customer. There were several things not on the contract such as the water meter and water service (150 feet,) which includes boring the road, electrical service (200 feet) which included setting a transformer and a pole and many expenses like a porta potty and a dumpster that Wagoner county makes you pay for, all adding up to close to $20,000. So right there were over budget. These were items that none of us thought would be so excessive. This was all approved by the customer who also commented has to be done. There was no budget for electrical in the shop building but the customer agreed to have it done. Theres $7,000 more over budget. As the General Contractor I had no ability whatsoever to obtain or spend the customers money without their approval. Every item was approved by them before a ***** was spent. Adding and subtracting is not difficult. I dont know how they could not know they were over budget even though these budget breaking items were all discussed before moving on. As everyone knows the cost of building materials has skyrocketed since Covid. The customer was angry that I couldnt stay in budget. I dont have control over materials increasing in price and Im not in the habit of giving things away for free. As far as working on the house only a couple times per month, that is a fabrication of the truth. Building homes and dealing with subcontractors schedules is not easy. Sometimes we can work for many days in a row and sometimes there are many days without work. Its the nature of the beast. My contractors and I also had to drive from ****** to ******* to work on the house which is over 100 miles so we tried to make fewer trips but get more work done when we were there. The customer knew this prior to starting. When we were down to the final finishes of the house I was told they were out of money and couldnt pay me to finish it. They said they would complete the house themselves. I had no problem with that but they continued to blame me for their financial shortcomings and harassed me over their own problems that they had created by doing construction on their own. As far as other contractors looking at the house and making claims that I overcharged them, I find that hard to believe. I am generally cheaper than most General Contractors. I believe this lady wants to displace blame and try to make me pay because she is unhappy with the whole situation. I do everything I can to be upfront and honest with my customers. Some people are impossible to please no matter what you do.

Brad built us a building he messed up on the plumbing line. I asked for only 500 dollars in refund he said he would pay it. He lied and never payed it and would not answer our calls or call us back. I know it’s a small amount but he is not trust worthy. He gave us his word. Not worth the air that was spit out.

This building was constructed over three years ago. Not sure why there is a negative review at this time. The customer wanted plumbing installed under concrete slab for future use as a bathroom. They also did want to get a plumbing permit for it. The pipes were hidden under the concrete per the customers request. A map with measurements of the locations of the pipes was given to the customer. I also advised the customer I was not responsible. More than a year later when the decided to build a bathroom in the building they decided on a different floor plan than what was initially planned. When the customer couldnt locate the pipes they decided it was my fault and demanded $500 from me. I told them again I wasnt responsible and they were on their own but I guess some people have to blame others for their inability to figure things out.
