      On May 12 2023 I put a deposit down on a 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Stock # CQQFS5. My sales person was *************************. Before placing the deposit she informed me that this unit was ordered by one of the employees at her dealership and that person backed out from the purchase and this vehicle would be arriving in July 2023. On June 5th 2023 ****** called me and told me the vehicles is two weeks out from being delivered to the dealership at which point i told her that I do not want the vehicle and i would like my deposit back since I am not the one who custom ordered it and I am letting you know well in advance that i am releasing the hold on it so you can sell it to whoever you like especially since i never took delivery of the vehicle. However they have chosen not to give me my $2000.00 back to me. I would like my $2000.00 back especially since they are selling the vehicle to someone else without a problem at all with just as much mark up if not more. There is no monetary loss that is occurring for Landers Chevrolet at all so there is no reason for them to keep my $2000.00

      I bought a ***** April 2023. I asked about having it shipped to my home in ** as my husband had found it while on a work trip. They were very accommodating & made arrangements to have it shipped after they repaired a tear in the leather. They said the repair would take a few days. I took almost 2 weeks to fix & it was finally delivered. They drove it off the trailer in my ********************* checked out good. I signed the papers then went out 2 hours later & the car wouldn't even start. Turns out, the battery was dead. Called the ***************** said they would replace the battery. Told me to go get one & send them the ************** would send me a check. I did & never saw the money. A few days later I was driving & the car started acting funny again & a bunch of lights came on. I used the OnStar feature which said the fuel injector went out. The dealership worked with me to have it replaced locally which was much appreciated but it took several weeks to fix & it was judt before Memorial Day weekend at this point before I got my vehicle back. So we took it camping 1 hr from our home about 3 days after picking it up & the transmission went out. I wrote the dealership VERY upset. They said they would replace the transmission locally as well. Finally, in JULY I got my vehicle back. Now, May 2024, the transmission has gone out again. I have put 7k miles on the 'new transmission' they put in July 2023 during my warranty ************ it has gone out. I do not drive a lot & I do not drive it hard. This should NOT have happened! I have also had to replace the coolant temp sensor 3 times. Do NOT buy a GMC & do NOT buy from this dealership. They take pride in how well they check their vehicles for mechanical soundness prior to selling but clearly that was not the case for us. We paid for a vehicle for 3 months without being able to use it. 1 yr later, we are back to the same exact thing. There's no way they replaced the transmission in this vehicle less than a year ago.
