While getting vehicle serviced for a factory recall on Feb 15 2024 @ 10:15 am, they broke my dash. ************************* apologized and said that they will fix but the only part they can find was around $600.00, and wanted to find something a little cheaper. I call back approx 2 weeks later and still didnt have any information for me. I asked what part number was cause I found some on the internet and wanted to make sure they were correct part. After an hour of being on hold I called back and she said they was still looking for part #, (which was odd since they found one for approx $600.00) and put me on hold again and held another hour till I got disconnected. They sent me a email for feedback and I sent in requesting for someone to call me back and let me know what was going on. Another week or so has gone by and I call and tried to talk to manager which is never available but I leave a message to call me. I have copies of the emails and recording of 2 calls, one which says they will fix my dash they broke. If this doesnt get a response my only other recourse is to file in small claims court

Purchased a 2014 ****** Pathfinder from Landers Dodge in Norman approximately 3 years ago and was sold a 5 yr/******* mile warranty. I was told it was ******* miles on top of the ****** on the vehicle. A few days ago I took my vehicle to ************ and asked them to check if it is covered under this warranty. I found out it was a ******* mile warranty so it expired at ******* miles. I purchased this warranty with the understanding it would be good for ******* miles, not ****** miles. I would not have purchased it if it was explained correctly. I am unsure if the finance person at Landers did not know it was 100k total or if he was not told the correct information from the warranty company or if someone lied. This is a very shady transaction.

      Dear BBB,

Regarding this customer complaint we would like to inform you that the customer supplied service contract was signed and clearly states the limitations - 5 year / ******* miles. It also separately states that the "Expiration Miles" miles are met at *******. Our Finance Managers are highly trained and very familiar with these products and would not represent or state anything different. As a result, we feel that there is evidence and proof of no wrongdoing on the dealership's part, and we hope to see this complaint closed.

      Thank you

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I will not recommend this dealership and encourage everyone shopping there to ensure they understand all paperwork and to ensure they get a copy of all the paperwork.  It does no good to complain as they have an excuse for everything.

      Sincerely,

      *************************

I purchased a 2018 Dodge Ram from this dealership. The next day we noticed the heat wasnt working on the drivers side. This is the estimate I was given to a certified pre owned vehicle. They have refused to make it right. I was even told by the sales man what did you expect buying a ***** vehicle.

      Dear BBB,

We have had a manager of the dealership reach out to the customer and the current plan is to get the vehicle brought into the dealership service department on January 26, ****. From there, our technicians are going to accurately diagnose the issue with the heater and work with the customer on the cost of repairs. We will have more information as to our level of assistance once we know parts needed and time of repair. While we will make reasonable efforts to assist the customer in this process, the customer did elect to purchase an as-is vehicle and turned down the option to purchase an extended warranty. We will provide updates on this as we complete the diagnostics process and work on an action plan with the customer.

      Respectfully,
      ***********************

I purchased a 2019 **** Expedition and added extended warranty with Assurant mileage *****. My transmission went out at ****** and I was denied coverage as it had passed the ****** miles I added of extended warranty. My understanding is extended warranty was after the ****** miles if factory warranty. But they say it expired at ****** I find this a complete false way of adding $4000 to my contract. Purchasing extended warranty is false they do not cover anything. I never used it but for 4 oil changes. The term extended warranty should not be used if the factory warranty is effective for transmission or drivetrain the ****** miles extended is a term for continuance after the initial warranty expires.

Our dealership has reviewed consumer complaint #******** - filed by *******************************. Upon reviewing the complaint, as well as the deal documentation we can report that the *************** contract that ****************** entered into 10/12/2020 did in fact expire when her vehicle reached the ****** mile marker. The manufacturer's warranty covers 5 yrs./60,000 miles, whichever comes first. So there certainly was added value in the provided service contract. Additionally, the service contract (attached) specifies that it is secondary in nature to the manufacturer's warranty already in place. We regret that the transmission issues arose after the expiration of the warranty coverage and would be happy to see how our service department can assist. In any event, we have attached proof of the service agreement and as such expect to be able to close this case.

On May 19th, We took our truck to Landers Dodge in Norman for a knocking sound. They quoted us $3000 to fix it. After two more calls with different issues, our total was $8,000. $6000 of that being labor. We go to pick up our truck, the battery is dead from the fog lights being left on. My husband drives it to ******** and the check engine light comes back on. He notices the knocking sound isn't gone! He calls, they tell him to bring it back in. They quote him $900 more dollars to fix it! He proceeds to calmly talk to the guy about how we've spent $8000 and our problem isn't fixed. "That's unfortunate!" is the response he got. He talked to the manager today only to find out that they will look at the truck, but we have to pay more for the problem they didn't fix. I'm in tears! That's so much money for the problem to still be there. It's wrong! What they did to us is wrong!

Customers complaint on initial visit on the 19th was as stated on the repair order. C.S THE VEHICLES CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON. VEHICLE HAS LOSS
OF POWER AND ENGINE SEEMS TO VIBRATE ALOT MORE with no knocking noise present with codes P0302 Cylinder 2 misfire. Upon inspection found drivers side head had low compression on cylinder 2. Recommended head replacement and tune up. Once we received approval and head we tore down engine and found Exhaust side cam bad and oil sitting in cylinder 2. Before continuing with repair called customer and sent pictures verifying damage to internal engine along with leaking oil ccoler. Customer also had an issue with the A/C not blowing cold. We found A/C compressor with internal leak. Technician recommended A/C compressor. Customer at that point authorized repairs. Once vehicle was test driven and verified repairs complete customer returned to pick up vehicle.  Vehicle was picked up on June 4th and returned June 6th with a check engine light and vehicle running rough complaint with no knocking noise. We diagnosed vehicle at no charge. Everything we have replaced prior has a 2 year unlimited mile warranty. We found check engine light was P06DD which is oil pressure solenoid stuck off. After further diagnosis we found the oil pump had failed in lower engine area. I then offered to fix vehicle at our cost to help customer out of sympathy. We did not have the same issues nor same codes in the system. I advised the customer that I have no way of knowing what is going to fail on a high mileage vehicle at any given time specifically with no maintenance records with our facility.  Attached are the pictures of the damaged cam shafts we found after removing cylinder head.

I bought a truck for my work on December 14 of 2021. A 2015 ram **** lone star heavy duty crew cab 4x4 with ******* miles for around $30,000.00 I had an issue with the truck with a light that says parking light out despite all the bulbs working. I brought it back in from ***** to Norman at my own expense for repair. After replacing a light bulb I was told it was fixed. It was not. The mechanic was dismissive and not thorough. Every time I hit my brakes the light comes on and it dings. I was told this truck had brand new brakes by the man who sold me the vehicle. Today is December 29 2021 and there is no pad left on my front brakes after about two weeks of normal driving. This leads me to believe I was lied to about the condition of the vehicle in order to make a sale. My complaint is that I was lied to about the condition of the product, and that when I asked them to correct it I was met with disrespect. This is a safety concern as well.
