I purchased a vehicle from ********** this past July and was told that any refunds that were due to me from Big Red Sports and Imports (bankrupt due to federal criminal conviction) would have to be facilitated by Oklahoma Motorcars. I hand walked the appropriate documentation required for the refund of unused GAP and Extended Warranty coverage to personnel at OK Motorcars. Since that time, I have called, emailed and visited to obtain a status on the refund that is due me. I have NEVER been allowed to talk to a person who is in charge of handling those refunds. I have been given email addresses for persons I don't think exist simply because they have NEVER been answered. I am OWED money and I EXPECT to be paid what is owed me.Initial Complaint

Purchased a 2019 ******* MKZ for $19,555 on 03/27/2024. Day 2 car makes a popping noise when turning. Was told I could bring it to them for $175 diagnosis fee. Day 13, car misfires. Check engine light is on and it is losing coolant. Replaced 2 ignition coils, all 4 spark plugs. Day 18 car misfires again. Have it diagnosed. Turns out this year model has a ***************** Bulletin on the motor, and the motor should have been replaced before it was sold to me. Day 18: call the dealership, and they wanted me to drive the car there for them to diagnose again at $175. They also stated they they would only discount any service needed. The motor for this car before labor $2,500. This dealership knowingly sold me a vehicle with a bad motor. I am a full time Uber/lyft driver. No motor means I can not work. There is also a chance it needs a new transfer case assembly as well. None of this was disclosed at the time of purchase. They have refused to help in any sort of matter. They did want me to drive the vehicle to them, and I refused because I didnt want to damage the motor more. The car is currently at a different dealership being dealt with.Initial Complaint

On 11/03/2023 I went to buy a vehicle for my fianc, *********************** at Oklahoma Motorcars located at ************************************ *****. We decided on the 2017 ******* MKC which this business had listed for $16,988. The paperwork was completed to finance the loan through their lender along with a 3-year service warranty. When I seen the price of the car was $18,383 and not $16,988 as advertised I asked the loan officer about this discrepancy and he said it was due to the 3-year warranty which seemed to fit at the time. Upon looking closer at documents the discrepancy in the price did not fit figuring in the service warranty. I went back to the business to get answers on the differences in the price. The manger was called and he produced a document I was not provided at the time of the sale showing a $899.00 transport fee and another charge of $495.00 for tint. I was not sure at the time if these charges were legitimate but I was upset that this document was not shown to me at the time of the sell. Later, I researched these charges and discovered these are add on which are not reasonable. fair, and appear to be an attempt to make more off the car than had originally planned when listed for $16,988. I dispute these charges and request I get the car for the listed price of $16,988. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.Initial Complaint

I bought a 2016 Audi A3 from them on 10/31/23. The day that I got it my tire light came on after only having it for an hour. I decided to take it to a shop and they told me it wasnt my tire. My rim was cracked. Fast forward a couple of weeks ** having another problem with the car. I was driving the car like normal and I smelt a rotten egg smell coming from my car. I didnt think anything of it at first until I smelt it again. After smelling it again I got super light headed and nauseous and had a headache. The fire department had to come out to my house and said carbon monoxide was coming from my car. They told me the car was not safe to drive and that I need to get it looked at asap. I had to get rid of my practically brand new car because my father passed away and I couldnt afford the payments on it. I feel like i got taken advantage of. I have had this car 3 weeks and shouldnt not be having these problems. I ended up at the hospital last night due to the carbon monoxide coming from my car.Initial Complaint

I bought a car from *********************** at Oklahoma Motorcars on September 9th, 2023. I gave $11,500 and my 2013 **** Mustang for a 2017 Chrysler 300. I was unsure if I wanted this Chrysler or a different car on their lot. The determining factor was that ***** led me to believe this car had remote start. I asked if it had it, he sent me a picture of the key fob with the remote start symbol on it. The feature did not work when he delivered the car, and suggested I try putting a new battery in the fob. I tried that and a few other suggestions with no luck. I ran the car to the Chrysler dealership, and they said the car was not equipped with it. ***** also told me he would schedule service to fix some other minor things on the car, and has stopped responding to me. The sales manager ******************* was also zero help, and quite frankly, rude. I now have a car that I have overpaid for because I was lied to about features it had, and things that would be fixed. It also might be worth noting, the Mustang I traded in had ******* miles on it, and I explained the gauge cluster was replaced with one showing ******* miles. A few days later, I saw the car listed for sale online at ******* miles with no mention of the cluster being replaced. I do not know if the car was wholesaled out immediately, but the profile the car was listed under was a fake name with no picture. I would hate to see someone else get ripped off.Initial Complaint

I bought a truck on January 27th 2023 sign all the paperwork and left that day with my truck. I was called back in 6 days later to sign new paperwork so I did. And my paper tag went out on the 27th of February so I called Oklahoma motorcars to ask about my title. I was told by ******* that they had sent my title to TTCU on February 18th so I called the bank and ask about my title and they have had not. So I called back to the dealership and talked to a man named ***** who is a manager I told him the bank had not got the title and that I was told it was sent on the 15th and he said he knows nothing about that on that they sent the title on the 28th of February which is still a day late but I confirmed it with the bank and that is true that they received it this morning on March 2nd 2023. But while I was on the phone with ***** on March 1st he was being very rude and banging his phone in frustration while Im trying to understand why I was lied to about about title being mailed on February 18th and how to extend my paper tag. He told me he would be fined $10000 and he could do nothing. So I called back the next day which is today March 2nd and talked to a lady named ****** and she was supposed to send me an email saying if I got any ticket or anything for my out of date tag they would cover it. But she did not send it. So I called back one more time and ***** answered the phone and would not allow me to speak to ****** again. So I told him about the email and he again got very rude with me and hung up the phone. A few minutes later he called me back to tell me the bank got my title this morning and that our conversations are now over and hung the phone up again. So I am now not allowed to speak to anyone who sold me my truck because ***** gets angry and hangs up the phone.Business Response

I purchased a car from Oklahoma Motorcars (via ***** Motorcars) in October. The engine light was on and it turned out to be more than they could fix so they switched our cars in November. Did not close out the loan for the first car. I have two loans in my name and the dealership has stopped responding to the bank to get it resolved. I also never received paperwork on a warranty I paid for and have not been able to use and the warranty is about to expire. They also have sold the Equinox now (per my evidence attached of the new title filed) while this loan is open on it in my name.Business Response

I financed a vehicle on 3/22/22 & put $3200 down (voluntarily to try to pay down the car quicker). In April before my 1st car payment was even due, I began to experience mechanical issues. I tried reaching out to the dealership to report it & kept getting transferred to a voicemail box. I left several messages & never got a call back. By May, more mechanical issues appeared & the car was not driveable at all. I've called numerous times even asking for a manager just to get transferred to a mailbox (now the mailbox won't accept messages) , I've left messages on the website contact form & I've sent messages on Facebook & this company is just ignoring me & does not care at all. I'm 19, this was my first purchase which I saved for just to get scammed. The car has been parked for months, I've continued to pay my payments up to this month but I cannot continue to pay for a vehicle I cannot drive that I literally just got! There are issues with the transmission, power steering, multiple oil leaks & the ac is out. I need help to reach this company to either tow&fix my car , trade the car for a reliable running car of equal value or take it back & null the contract due to them giving me a lemon that is not worth the money I put down much less the rest of the contract amount. There were also other unethical practices, but at this point if we can just get the vehicle fixed , traded or null the contract we will move forward.Business Response

I took my son in to buy his first car at Oklahoma Motorsports in Norman on January 29th 2022, we purchased a *** 535xi for more than the online price due to multiple fees the dealership kept adding to make the price more than the cash I had with me , I had previously called and spoke to sales about this vehicle and was told that it had been inspected and had the all clear to be sold, after it was test drove the salesman told me it had in fact not been inspected and I was told I could bring it back if there were any issues. I signed all the papers and went to the car to leave and it will not start , they tried to put a battery jumper on it that didn't work , they tried to put a battery in it that was not the battery type for the car and then said they would have to order a battery and we would have to leave the car until Tuesday the following week I requested they replace the alternator too, Tuesday comes , we pick up the car to take it home and on the way home the car breaks down, error code transmission malfunction and engine malfunction and will only run in limp mode, once it was home smoke was noticed from the tailpipe , the dealership agreed to look at it and the car was taken to the service department , according to them they fixed a few things and the car was supposed to be good as new , not the case , the car has been in the shop since March of this year and has had tons of work on it but essentially I am going to have to buy a new motor and transmission because they are both useless, not to mention it took 2 months to get a title and the fees for the tag were ridiculous. The salesman is very good at getting teenage boys to waste their life savings on junk cars.Business Response
