I went to A to Z Automotive $ Tire shop back in Oct 2020 for transmission problems and popping noise in my left side rear which is like a suspension noise/control arm. When they called and told me the work was completed they failed to fixed the popping noise. So, this year January of 2022 I had a fuel leak and I was still dealing with the noise from the rear. I took it back up there to A to Z to get it fixed. They called my warranty and they covered some of the cost but the popping noise was still not fixed. Ive been very irritated I called ******* at A to Z and told him the noise isnt fixed at all. He stated that I should bring it back, but at this point if yall didnt fix it the 1st and 2nd time. Why should I bring it back the 3rd time. I need my vehicle for work and during those 3 months the had my car it shouldve been done correctly, but at this point I need a refund because its never going to get fix if I continue on taking it back to them.Business response

Yes ********************** did come into the shop. First time we replaced suspension components on one side which cured the issue. In February of this year she did come back with similar noise come to find out is was the opposite side this time making noise. We replaced the parts. ********************** did call and inform us it was still makin some noise we asked if she could bring it in for us to look at. All of our work carries a 12 month ****** mile warranty and we will be more than happy to take care of the issue if it happens to be any of the work that we have performed but she will have to bring the car into us to do so.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:Im just now seeing the message and hope Im not too late. I did read the message from the business, but I took my vehicle up there twice to get the suspension noise fixed and it still isnt fix. I can take it somewhere else 3 times is too much. Just want a refund that was paid.
Sincerely,

Car was dropped off for repair work on a claim for the front end, and then paid out of pocket for a non-claim on the back driver side. Both bumpers are not aligned properly and have several different issues that the shop is claiming has to do with damage that was caused to the frame prior to me buying the vehicle. I've taken the car to two body shops the same week after I got the car back and they both agree that the job was not done properly.Business response

******************, did have us make repairs to the front bumper of his 2015 ****** Camry per his *************** estimate. ************* company only had us make repairs to his front bumper. This vehicle has had previous damage where both front fenders are not correctly repairs and/or installed causing the bumper edges to not light up perfectly. We have made several attempts to satisfy ****************** however with the previous damage there is no way to make it perfect and he has declined any additional work to correct this issue. It is unfortunate we are unable to satisfy ****************** because of previous frame damage done to his vehicle not related to his current insurance claim.Initial Complaint

I dropped the vehicle off on Thursday Afternoon (9/23/2021) to have a tire sensor checked, report rear wobble and have the rear wheel well inspected to verify there was no cross-threading. I called A to Z Automotive and Tire at 12:18 PM CST on Friday (9/24/2021) to ask about update and was told by Michael that they haven’t inspected the vehicle yet. Invoice marks initial inspection as being completed at 12:22 PM CST. I was called at 4:37 PM CST on Friday (9/24/2021) and was told by Michael that my rear brake pads and rotors are completely bad and need to be replaced immediately. The fee to replace the rear brake pads and tires would be $550. He also informed me that he took my vehicle on a test drive to make sure there was no rear wobble in the tires. I arrived at 7:45 on Saturday morning (9/25/2021) to pick up the vehicle. The invoice showed a charge for $11.65 fee for ‘shop supplies’ with no explanation. The odometer did not change at all and the vehicle was not test-driven.Business response

This customer brought the vehicle in with the stated complaints and told us they had an extended warranty. They were informed when dropping the car that if repairs were not covered under their policy there would be a diagnostic fee of $115. The wobble when occurred when the brakes were applied and was determined replacing the rear brakes would take care of the issues and the were not covered by the policy and declined by the customer. There was shop supplies charged in error of $11.65 and we are happy to refund this amount.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: The response from the business is inaccurate. There is no wobbling when the brakes are applied, the wobbling occurs around 60 MPH and above. If they were to check the brake pads and rotors with a simple inspection, it would have revealed that there is no significant wear on either. It was also reported that the vehicle was taken out to inspect the wobble, however, the odometer on the vehicle did not change.Furthermore, the price quoted to me was $550 for the replacement which is around $200 more than is reported on repairpal.com, the extended warranty provider.
Sincerely,

Was sold a steering shaft on my truck that was really not needed. This was a intentional scam for money only. The service person named **** insisted to me that my steering shaft was about to fall out of my truck and that it needed to be replaced so I agreed but said to him that sounds like something that never really wears out. The problem comes in when the part they ended up installing was not a **** or Napa part and was made in China and was so terrible I was scared to drive it. The part that they installed was way worse than my original shaft proving that nothing was really wrong with the original part. And then to find out A-Z paid $186.00 for a Doorman brand part and then charged me $450.00 for that part. I special ordered a new replacement part from **** for $225.00 and installed it myself in middle of the night in order to put the truck safely back in service. All I asked for was my money back for the defective part although many other items somehow became broken.Business response

We did make a repair to a **** **** F550 1FDAF56P5EA32701 for ********************* on June 4th 2021 involving the steering intermediate shaft. A-Z Complete Automotive & Tire, LLC was not informed that there were any issues after taking delivery of this vehicle until July 2nd 2021. At that time ************** brought in a part he said was a defective steering shaft and requested a refund in the amount of $570.00. He had told us that the part was defective and he purchased a replacement part from Metro **** and installed it himself. Unfortunately by doing so he did void his 12 month ****** mile warranty as it is not possible for us or any other repair facility to determine if the part was in fact a part failure, it is impossible to determine this when it has been removed from the vehicle. If ************** had informed us that he was having issues we could have addressed this at no cost to him. Unfortunately he decided to take matters into his own hands, diagnosing and making these repairs without anyone verifying the issues. By doing so we have no recourse with the parts supplier to offer any compensation. All of the other repairs made to this vehicle will still have the 12 month ****** mile warranty as long as there taken to either our shop or any ******************** nation wide.
Thank you
