Billed surprise charges from ************ procedure was billed twice in the itemized statement and only partially covered by insurance. It appears as though there are double charges. When I called to discuss I got the runaround from billing stating that the insurance doesnt cover payment to the Dr. **** should have been brought up before the procedure and wasnt - now Im being charged just under $2k in charges to the ********** and I have $500 in extra fees due to this office using an out of state pathologist. Im frustrated that these Drs dont give the patient any idea of what the charges are going to be ahead of time and decide to use out of network services like pathologists in another state. $2500 is a huge hit and they dont even care. **** is negligence at best but feels a lot like robbery, My insurance covered $5700 worth of charges and yet thats not enough for these Drs greed. Its absolutely pathetic and unethical.

I was charged a "No Show Fee" for $200 with a policy cancel minimum of 72 hours, when I never confirmed an appointment time in the first place. When the company called to confirm my appointment on 04/11/2022 I missed the call and I received a voicemail indicating that the appointment had already been scheduled for 04/13/2022. I called back immediately, on the same day, and asked to cancel the procedure because I opted to conduct my medical procedure through the Veteran Affairs (VA) Hospital. When I received the bill in the mail and saw the $200 "No Show" charge, I immediately followed up with the billing department, who told me that they would take the charge off. However, I was back called later that day and was told that they do not have the authority to take the charge off. I was told to follow up with an employee named Michelle Divine, so I called her immediately. When I first called on 06/22/2022 I was told that Michelle was out for the day but would call me back as soon as she was in the office. I never heard anything back so I called again on 06/28/2022 and was told that Michelle would call me back before close of business. I never heard anything back, so I called again on 06/30/2022 to no avail. Michelle was not available and when I asked, I was told me that they do not know when she will get back to me. The office also denied my request to have Michelle's email address to follow up. In summary, I do not understand how I can be charged for not showing up for an appointment that I never authorized in the first place. In the past, I have attempted to call the company multiple times to either verify or cancel my appointment, and I never received a call back. The same goes for my billing issues, I can't seem to get in contact with anyone who will help me, and the main point of contact will not return my calls. Now I am afraid that my bill will go to collections before I can get this issue resolved.

I had an *** Scheduled in 6/21. Finances were VERY tight and my health care team knew this! I had to cancel the *** due to money. I cancelled the appt. 28 hours prior my appointment. I was charged a NOSHOW of $200 WITHOUT being told of a 72 hour notice! I had a $40 credit that they applied to my account without my permission. I was never told about that policy even when I called to cancel. I have tried to discuss this but have been told that "it's policy" and I have no recourse. A policy like this NEEDS to be done at all levels-especially when on the phone

This company called me to scheduled my next screening. I told them my insurance had changed in the last 7 years and was told not to worry. I arrived on 6-10-21 and had to pay $250 for a screening that was free with Aetna. I was later billed another $600.03 because this company was not in the Aetna network. This company had my insurance information and easily could have told me to schedule with a doctor in network but instead had me complete the the procedure and stick me with the bill. I was not scheduled for another screening for another 3 years. I trusted this company had my best interests in mind, not theirs.
