I filed insurance claim for chip in my front windshield. Safelite came out and attempted to fix it. Tech did terrible job, and just left the sight and told us not worry about coming out to check. It was a terrible job and chip was already started cracking. Now the chip became about 2ft long crack. I immediately called the tech and he said "I did everything by the book, and I did everything correctly, if you have problem with it I'm sorry but I'll give you my supervisor number as soon as possible" never received the supervisors number. I called the location of safelite again and explained and they asked me to bring car in, so I did. The person at the sight said again the resin never filled in correctly and it's cracking. Location manager ****(?) called me and we discussed the how unprofessional the tech was, and since it was the insurance claim, there is nothing much can be done. He did tried to give me as much discount as possible and we worked it out for me to bring the car in later the week. After the drop off, an hour later, they called says the car is throwing error code, we can't do anything until it is resolved. To me it made sense, I took it to the dealership to get it fixed(assumed code clearing). but the issue was that dealership made a mistake too and they said it's a code clearing then it's done. Today I took it to the shop for pre-check and the error popped up again. I took it to the dealership and asked for supervisor of the service section. He said this code is popping up because your windshield is cracked and glitching with the sensor. I told them, they said if error is popping up there is nothing they can do. EVEN THOUGH THE **** IS POPPING UP BECAUSE OF DAMAGED WINDSHIELD. At this point, I was done with them. Only assumption i could have was that they didn't want to do the job with the discount that much. what other explanation can you have? All the person working there seem professional and courteous, but no one take care of the issue.
