I was denied services for a policy that is posted nowhere in the facility, not in paperwork filled out, and not listed on their website. The spa director was rude and refused to answer my questions. I was also not allowed to change my service to something else they offered. The spa director failed to advise of this so called "company policy" under after my scheduled start time of the treatment. The front desk worker advised their website has not been updated in years and that puts people at risk. The spa and hotel directly failed to advise customers of their "policy".Business response

The appointment mentioned in the complaint was booked by ***************************** friend. At no point during the booking process was it mentioned that ****************** was pregnant. When a guest mentions a pregnancy during the time of booking, the staff is trained to inform the guest of our corporate policy which states we do not offer massage treatments to women in their first trimester. In response to the claim stating we do not have this listed our policies, we do have information listed on our brochure under the "mother to be massage" stating we use techniques to relax mothers who are in their second or third trimester. The complaint also mentions we did not allow ****************** to change her service to something else we offer but the guest was in fact given a pedicure as an alternative and the associate who performed the pedicure added additional time complimentary which focused on calf massage in addition to the normal pedicure.
