I highly recommend Nelson Landscaping. I now have a yard for the first time as a homeowner (in ******), and the project managers educated me about its possibilities. Nelson planted five trees on my property including an unusual and beautiful ************************** Nelson also installed a super water sprinkler system, and theyve helped me with some water flow issues on the property as well. The Nelson Landscaping crew from the landscapers to the cement crew they we all professional and listened to our concerns. Our only complaint would be when the drainage system was repaired the grass was removed and now we are left with bare spots. 1x60ft bare spots. The grass in these areas not growing Sod should have been recommended for these areas and now we are left searching for sod companies, not fun. Along with this the sprinkler system had to be repaired but they did not move or adjust the system to account for the new flower beds which causes some areas to get more water than needed. The concrete work, we requested stamped concrete and are left with some spots that were double stamped or not stamped enough. The results are spots with no texture or lines from the edges of the forms used and areas with chips in the cement. I would definitely use them again.Review from Mark H

********** and ****************Nelson Landscaping design and Landscaping Crew (**** and ****) did a phenomenal job on our front landscaping. They were very efficient with their time and were very receptive to our inputs on minor changes and updates. They were good about their equipment use and storage not disrupting our access to the garage or front door. The layout, selection of plant material, colors was amazing blending seamlessly with existing plants. The front yard is now the pride of the neighborhood!! They built a retaining wall for me. Horrible customer service experience. Horrible communication with job supervisor. They will take advantage of you at every turn! They charged me $200 for a permit they got on the phone and it cost them $22. Then I had to call in the final inspection myself because the owner was certain that retaining walls "Never are inspected"... They also built the wall without an approved permit. The permit was actually approved after the wall was completed. My neighbor also had a wall built at the same time(One wall - 2 address') and they wanted to charge for 2 engineering plans when in fact it was the same wall. They way over estimated the materials on the quote and contract that I signed and I had to go to battle to get the costs reduced to what materials were actually used.I would never recommend this contractor to anyone, overpriced and you gotta watch everything they do to make sure it is done right.Nelson Landscaping Response
