I spoke with a **** (manager after *****) that is located in *************, on behalf of the Woodlands emergency physicians. **** danced around his company's information and tried to give me a PO box in attempt to not locate R1.**** made all sorts of claims about sending out letters to collect a debt for the Woodlands Emergency Physicians, but none were received or mailed via certified mail. **** claims his company does not do business with this company any longer but has all of my medical information on file.Due to this companies' negligence, I have an account with a collection agency whom I have no contracts with harassing me. A hipaa investigation will be filed following this.The collection agency on my credit is also completely different than what **** gave me as well.Initial Complaint

R1RCM got my first name wrong, and therefore, their **** was rejected by my insurance company as I have already verified with my insurance company. I have tried the phone number they provided three times. Every time the customer service assured me that my name is corrected and they would file for insurance again. Every time I received another **** with the same wrong information. The customer service on the phone call even provided an email address for me to communicate with them so that I have written records. And the email they gave me was invalid. If R1RCM wants to collect medical ****, they should first get the person's name right and they should correct it promptly and effectively when there is a problem.
