Details: Date of transaction: 02/26-2024 Business commitment: Our brick mailbox was damaged by our neighbors backing into it with their car. The business owner *******, committed to providing us with matching brick color and the same mailbox build.Dispute: ******* bulldozed our mailbox without communicating with us that they COULD NOT match the brick color of the mailbox to the brick color of the house. ******* waited until all the work was complete to inform us they were unable to match the brick to our house color. ******* also did not rebuild the same brick mailbox that we had and failed to communicate that they were building a different design (taller middle section and lower flower bed) than what we had. ******* did not give us the opportunity to back out of using their services prior to them destroying our mailbox. It was unfair to us as customers to not be informed that they could not hold up their end of matching the brick and that they were going to rebuild a brick mailbox with different dimensions.******* is unwilling to fix the height of our brick flower bed or make any changes to the work to try and at least accommodate the wrongdoing. We feel conned and tricked. This is our first home and now our brick mailbox doesnt match our house, and doesnt look like the brick mailbox, that we loved, prior to his work. ******* will not resolve the problem, ******* repeatedly told us they were doing us a favor and even threatened to take us to small claims court, even though we were always willing to pay and we did pay services in full the day of the work being done, even though we were completely unhappy with his work and his disregard for our concerns.
