Around May of 2023 a salesman from this company came to my door and offered me services. Have you noticed how bad the moles are in this neighborhood? Of course I had. We had recently moved in and theyd done a number on the yard. He said they can lay down pesticide that eliminates the grubs on which the moles feed, eliminating the moles. We have text messages to corroborate this. On May 9, 2024 I contacted this business to cancel my service because the mole treatment has been ineffective. On the phone, I was asked why I want to cancel and I told them [the lawn rodent treatment] is not working. This phone call was recorded by Cloud Pests and by myself. The person on the phone told me that while they do provide that service, thats not the service I signed up for. What? Its the *only* reason I signed up. So I said well, cancel it and they told me I had to pay a cancellation fee of over $200.00 because I had an agreement. Yeah, we had an agreement but the only person holding up their end of the agreement was me. Their salesmen came to my home and lied to me to get me to enroll in a service. This is fraud and its unacceptable and I demand recompense.

During the second treatment of my apartment, I informed the technician that I did not want future service since I would be moving. Two months later I receive a bill from cloud demanding payment for a third treatment. I informed them that I had cancelled the service and that I still owe since they treated the outside of the house. They said I still owe even though I cancelled and they did not complete treatment.

Cloud Pest Management made a door to door sales call introducing me to their company and service to treat for pests indoor and outdoor. I explained I have a chronic lung disease and didnt want insecticides inside. While the salesman explained they use an all natural treatment I still declined. He then offered me a discounted price to treatment of $75 for outside then $130 every 2 months. He said if after treatment I didnt want to continue with treatments I could call the office and cancel the service. He explained that for effective treatment a second treatment would be most effective. I paid with my debit card and signed to give permission to treat. After second treatment I noticed that the treatment did not kill wasps that had built a nest. Today I called to cancel my treatment plan and was informed I had a signed contract. To cancel I would have to pay the discounted amount fotr my first treatment. It amounted to a $250 charge which was deducted from my checking account. Since I am at their mercy due to the fact it is enrolled on automatic deduction from my bank account. I called my bank and was told the company I did business must cancel on their end. I will be watching to make sure it does cancel and no more charges will be deducted. My complaint is that this appears to be a bait and switch scam. I was originally offered a discounted offer to try their service. After dissatisfaction with what service I provided I was made to pay what an initial service would be. I have paid $385 for only 2 treatments ($75 +$130+$250). Their claim is I signed a contract but at the door no mention that I was signing contract or I would never have signed. I thought I signed for my credit card charge. It was on an iPad so I had no print out either.

Signed up for services but after 3 treatments was very dissatisfied with the services rendered along with their inability to wear a mask while in my home in the middle of a Covid outbreak. Their technicians would report doing thorough work in the house despite not stepping foot in the house. I told them I was unhappy with the services and wished to cancel. The last time they serviced my home was in October of 2021, in April of 2022 they charged my credit card an additional $200 without my authorization. I have disputed the charge but they insist they had the right to run my card without my permission.

I saw an ad on ******** advertising pest control. We'd been having a lot of mosquitos that year and I was concerned about heartworms in my dogs. I also wanted to see if they knew how to get rid of insects in a garden without killing the praying mantises and other insects I'd put there on purpose to kill aphids and other pests.A man came out when I was gone and later said he sprayed the outside of my home - not the garden or mosquitos. He said he'd return and spray the inside of the house when I was home to let him in.I was shocked because he apparently hadn't listened to me. I don't have a problem with insects in my home and that's not why I contacted him.He began pushing for me to sign a contract and just to get him to leave me alone, I replied that I'd "think about it". I never told him that I would definitely sign a contract. That was about two years ago and the company is still calling and harassing me. At the beginning I tried to do the right thing, speaking to them and explaining that I don't want a contract, especially since he didn't do what I asked, coming when I wasn't even home. I don't see that it makes sense to pay for their mixup. I'm terminally ill now and in a wheelchair. I let this go for awhile, hoping they'd get the idea, especially after I'd spoken with them. Now that I'm dying, I would hope to spend the rest of my time in peace, not dealing with a company that refuses to listen and then bothers you for years, even after you ask them to stop. I don't any time left to deal with this anymore.I just want them to leave me alone. No more phone calls and no more talk of me signing a contract. I don't want to do business with them. Ever. In my opinion, the people there are either grifters or nuts.I don't even live in that town anymore! I live with my daughter so she can care for me.
