I won a free pet photo session valued at $500 via Instagram. The owner, ****, was prompt and responsive at getting this scheduled for 5:00 pm on Saturday, February 10th. I was required to pay a $99 deposit for my sitting. At ordering, immediately after the photo session, prices ranged from $1,500 for one 11x14 photo, up to $11,000. I was told that my $99 deposit would be applied towards the $1,500 as a $1,000 credit, essentially making the cost of one 11x14 photo $500. Because of my "free" session, **** also threw in two 8x10's at no cost. I was required to sign a form stating I could not cancel after leaving the session, would not receive any digital copies, and had to pay the full amount up front. After leaving, I began to feel uneasy about the experience and that it seemed like a possible scam. I called the following Monday morning and left a message with a woman asking **** to please call me back and that I wanted to cancel if possible. I never received a return phone call. I also emailed him three times, initially regarding cancelation, and more recently, wanting to know when my product would be delivered. It has been more than 12 weeks since my order was placed, and I still have received no products or correspondence. I am requesting a refund or delivery of my product immediately.Customer response

I was charged a "refundable" $99 deposit when I booked this appointment. When we ordered portraits I was told I would be charged $401, with the deposit making the total $500. I was instead charged $500 in addition to the deposit. I have contacted the company requesting the refund through emails, voice-mail and have spoken with an employee who said she would contact me back. I have not received any call backs and the $99 has not been refundedInitial Complaint

I paid over $4,000 for portraits of my son that were taken in September of 2023. They were supposed to be delivered 8 weeks after our ordering appointment in October. I have called and they said they would get me in touch with someone but they never have and now they are no longer answering my calls. I no longer want these portraits because I feel that with the way they have treated me that they do not deserve my patronage. If I do not receive a full refund I will be forced to take legal action against them.Initial Complaint

In October 2023 I won a free pet portrait from Fisher fine portraits. I went to the sitting and paid the $99 deposit. The contest said a free sitting and free 8x10. At the appointment to look at the pictures I was told I could forfeit my $99 deposit and get a second 8x10. To date I have received nothing at all. *** tried to reach out for an update but my request are going unanswered. Appears this was a scam for the money.Initial Complaint

I was looking for a photographer to take family portrait as we are adopting and want to have a memory to *******. I saw Fisher Fine Family Portrait advertising to win a session with free photo on a social media platform . June 26 I was texted and advised I had won the next day. So on July 15th we got up to go to our session. We were advised if youre 10 mins late you forfeit the deposit. They were 20 mins late from a previous family session. All This was after i was told there would be a $99 deposits. We meet every stipulation as not to forfeit it. We had 48hrs to book. On July 20 we reviewed the photos which were not presented as we were informed they would be for their wonderland experience. Which we did not receive, this photo review was on a zoom call and was told the minimum price to purchase was $1500 after applying my deposit which would be credited. The original price actually **** for their photo book .We were told If we didnt purchase right then and now the photos would be deleted. They would not sale the photos as was for any price to me. I see were others were offered digital print which hasnt been received per reviews .THe highest price $12k for 1 photo. THe gentleman lied about a number of things. This company is scamming families!!! Also, there were different prices listed for the deposit some website saying $50 and other $99. This company needs to be investigated for their practices. I wish I had searched to find the reviews from other unsuspecting customers! The complaints are from stealing of deposits to hidden prices and dirty marketing. On their webpage it states family average between 600-1000. One 8x10 cost $600. If I had know I never would have put my family through this. As i can see I did not win anything but the pain of my children seeing photos of themselves they loved and listening to some trying to scam their mother for 100s to thousand of dollars. Please investigate! According to reviews this has gone on for a couple of years.Initial Complaint

I saw a post on ******** to put in your info and be entered to win a fairytale portrait shoot. I completed the short form and was later contacted via Email and text message stating I had won but must book within 72 hours or I forfeit the prize. There was a link to read some info about the session that said there was a $50 fee to schedule so I just closed it without scheduling. The next day and employee texted me asking me to schedule for the "free" fairytale portrait. I told them I thought it was for kids and that I was just going to forfeit it. They talked me into. I don't remember if it was the employee directly or somewhere in the scheduling process but I was told if I won it on ******** to put it in the comments (insinuating they would waive the $50 booking fee). I booked but then had to reschedule and ultimately ended up requesting the cancellation on Monday 2/27 ahead of my Saturday 3/4 appointment. (That is a full business week). I was not told on the phone when I cancelled that I would be forfeiting my reservation fee. I didn't know at that point they had even taken one because I was under the impression this was an experience I had "won". Much to my surprise they had taken the fee out when I originally booked and not only had they taken it out, it was $99 and not even the $50 advertised. They have misleading ads that they use to take your information and act like you won something when they are truly just gathering your contact info as a free lead. Then, they mislead you to enter your card info to book a session but insinuate if you tell them you are a ******** winner your fees are waived. They have different fee amounts listed in different places on their website and email communication as well different rules for how to book/cancell/change appointments without penalty. I do not want to have to write them bad reviews and spread the word of their bad actions. I'm a nice person that got scammed and I want them to refund me and stop doing it to others.Initial Complaint

I won a free photoshoot for a contest but they required a $200 deposit which was paid on April 27, 2022. I initially scheduled it for May 21, 2022 but I decided to cancel the shoot and called them on May 19 and 20, 2022. They refused to refund the deposit saying that we called too late but there was no policy listed on their website about cancellations and forced me to reschedule at a later date.
