I chose Johnnies Sweet Creation to make the cake for my 50th birthday celebration.I presented them with the pictures of how I wanted the cake.I wanted the top cake to be purple w/gold dripping down, the word fifty in cursive (was very sloppy & ugly)& flowers($19.03 from hobby lobby)on top (none of the flowers that I purchased were on the cake when delivered). The bottom cake white **************** trim w/a gold rope dividing n between the top & bottom cake (wasnt on the cake). I made 2 separate payments. The 1st payment was on June 21, in the amount of $112.38 & paid the remaining balance on July 12th of $138.36. I also dropped off all of the flowers that I wanted on my cake on July 12th. Johnnies agreed to make my cake as I requested & deliver it to the facility of the party. July 17th (day of my party) started off sunny but mid-day it started raining. ***** (whom I thought was just the driver, but didnt know that he was the owner) can into the facility to let me know hed be bringing in the cake. So he went back out into the rain to pull his car to the front of the facility. I stood by the facility door to open it for him. He went to the back of his car to get the cake. He pulled it out. It was Not in a box!With Covid in the air the cake should have been covered. He couldve been coughing, smoking & the cake couldve been exposed to anything!! Had he told me that I could have brought out my umbrella or covered it w/something!He preceded to walk towards the facility with only one ********** holding the cake while he used his other hand to cover the cake from the rain!He set the cake down & some of the gold is on his **********. You can see in the photos where some of the gold is rubbed off the edge of the cake. Rainwater covered my cake. No flowers were on the cake. I immediately called Johnnies in which they forwarded me to the (driver). The only resolution from ***** was to give me $60 or store credit. I wanted a full refund & what I paid for my flowers.
