I went to United auto sales to purchase a vehicle. I had been looking at a 2000 dodge Durango. I called prior to showing up and expressed how serious I was in the vehicle. I was informed that the vehicle was roadworthy and while driving back home an hour into the drive it overheated, and proceeded to blow coolant all over the road. Leaving me stranded halfway between home and the dealer.. I contacted the dealer to express the issue I had, and to try and get some sort of resolution in terms of getting it to them to find out what was wrong or getting it to my home, because both directions for a tow wouldve cost the same. I tried to negotiate the price of the considering the fact that I bought a vehicle that was supposed to be roadworthy and it was not. I thought this was a good solution. It was nowhere near acceptable for the proprietor of United auto sales. My wife had to take out a personal loan in order for the truck and myself to get home. I was extremely weary of sending the vehicle back to United Auto Sales as it does not seem that they do things as professional as other places.Business response

can take care of those is***s. He also claimed that he is very familiar with those vehicles and can work on them himself .
**************** called approximately two hours later complaining that the vehicle is overheating, and he is halfway from home. We tried to explain to him that the only way we could help is for him to bring the car back to us so we can check it and see what went wrong on it. **************** called our office following day and was threatening to *** us, take us to court and all that good stuff .we explained to him that the only way this could be resolved is for us to get the car here ,verify what he's claiming and see how we can help him .He was not very cooperative at all.
