On 2/16/2022 the owner of ** ***** called to tell me that he could not perform the work needed on my vehicle and that the dealership is the only place that could fix it, He then Requested $200 from me in order to retrieve my vehicle I asked him why are you charging me $200 and you did not do any of the repair work he then said that well I replace your spark plugs for you, I in stated why did you replace the spark plugs those are less than five weeks old I just got those replaced by *************************, I said Im on my way and when I arrived I spoke with him face-to-face and after he explained that he replaced my spark plugs and then showed him the receipt from ************************* stating where they were just replaced five weeks ago and for him to give me my original spark plugs back he then said they were thrown in the trash and he could not explain to me why he replaced him in the first place without discussing this with me first had he discuss this with me I would have told him that there was no need to replace the spark plugs. His son then came in to intervene in the conversation and said that because I was being argumentative and rude that he was increasing the price to $300 and then once I disagree with that he increased it to $500 and said that I could not get my vehicle unless I paid This in full, I demanded an itemized list of the things that he is charging me for and he refused to do this still stating that I told him $500 now instead of the original $150 for the spark plugs that I never asked for him to replace in the first place. The son Then bet rated me with insults, stating that he spends $150 dollars in ******* and that You people always want something for free and that You people always try and work the system. I ended up giving them the $150 to get my car back but I. Intend on filing a civil case against them because I never gave permission for him to perform and work on my car. I would like to file a complaint. Thank you.Business response

My customer brought a car here and the engine didn't run good and engine was missing. I check it out missing number 1 and number 4. Its not working.
I quoted her 500 to repair. I told her I wasn't sure I could fix it. But I needed to check it out. I do the job and she says its still not done. I told her to bring it to the dealer. I offered to help her out for 250 dollars and she gets mad. Then she told me why did you replace the spark plugs? You should bring it to a dealer before you bring it to me. I leave my new spark plugs in it and don't make her pay for the spark plugs.
