Started 3/19/2021 $47796.36 Total paid in full.Build a 40x60 metal building. The business was suppose to build building by 5/19/2021. Nothing but excuses during the whole building process. Did not show up or call for long periods of time. Did not buy my materials like promised. Building craftmanship is horrible. I have welds not finished and trim falling off. Screws not screwed through anything. Insulation falling off of wall and roof. Holes in the roof. Outside walls shake due to turning the wall supports the wrong way. Concrete cracking all over. Broke off corner of porch while workers drove onto porch. Tried to fix with bags of concrete. That is already cracking.3/14/2022 Building still not finished and issues not corrected. 2D welding, fabrication, and construction entered an agreement for a house and garage in May of 2021. The agreement was for 2D to provide construction of a 40x60 metal building garage attached to a 40x65 metal building house with porches, concrete, insulation, and rough in plumbing. The contract provided describes completion within three months. Actual construction did not start until August 2021 due to weather. We are six months in and he has still not been able to complete this project. I have paid him a total of $135,600 towards the original agreed price of $159,900 plus another $3800 towards design changes. After the last draw progress has completely stopped. The last draw should have paid him and his employees for labor and whatever was left for material. He said at that time he would be done in two weeks. That was on January 12th, 2022. I allowed him to work for another 5 weeks. During that time he has not paid his employees. He has not been able to provide me with the material to finish. I have heard more excuses than I care to hear. I felt that 5 weeks was more than enough time when he said he would be done in 2 weeks. I fired him from my job on February 21st, 2022. I have since purchased the material to finish and have hired another contractor. I would like for him to pay me back for the material, labor, and insulation that I am now left getting on my own that was included in the original contract. I did still owe him around $23,000. However, that will not cover all the work that was left. I would like for this to be resolved out of court but if it cannot. Then I am prepared to take it to court for resolution.
