On 10/27/2021, I signed a contract with said dealership to trade my truck in for an SUV. I informed dealership that I would not take the vehicle home until I knew the loan with the bank was finalized. On 10/29/3021, the said dealership contacted me to come get the vehicle as everything was finalized and ready. I picked the vehicle up that evening and left my trade in vehicle at the lot. The following week, I was informed that the bank was not accepting the documents provided and I would need to provide additional documents, which I did. I was then informed again that the bank loan was finalized only to get contacted again within another week that they needed more documentation. All the while, I was missing work to get these documents to the dealership. At that time, again, I was informed that the bank loan had been finalized and my trade in vehicle had been paid off. Another week and a half went by and I was contacted again that they needed more documentation or else I would need to bring the vehicle back. At that point, I reached out to the lean holder for my trade in vehicle and realized that not only has my vehicle not been paid off but now it is being reported on my credit negatively as it is showing that I missed several payments all the while being told that it has been paid off and the bank loan has been finalized. Since the dealership said I would need to bring the vehicle back if I could not provide additional documentation, I decided that would be the best option at this point due to all of the lies and stress. When I contacted the dealership to let them know that I would be bringing the vehicle back and picking up my trade in, they informed me that I couldn't as they have a "no return policy." I contacted 2 different GM's. 1 informed me that my trade in vehicle had been taken to the auction already (although the bank loan had never been finalized.) I'm requesting my vehicle, my down payment, and $835 outstanding bills that my trade in has accrued.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 12, 2022/01/04) */ During the loan process the bank had requested additional information, the documents provided at the time of purchase were not sufficient for the bank and the funding process of the loan. We have returned the customers down payment of $500 and her trade.
