Bought 40 lbs of this company's "bens best high protein dog food", and dog refuses to eat it, even when mixed with favorite foods.i contacted company by customer service voice mail and tried a non functioning e mail link.noone has contacted me to discuss resolution.Business response

This is in response to the current complaint #********.
After several attempts to contact the customer we were able to finally talk and discuss the initial complaint. He allowed that after more observation he believes his dog not eating the food is related to a possible medical issue and not the fault of the food. He is following up with his veterinarian as he looks into this further. From our conversation it appeared to me that he might not be able to utilize this specific bag of dog food in a timely manner so I suggested that we reimburse him for his purchase. After initially refusing he finally allowed me to reimburse him for his purchase. He was appreciative for the gesture as I was for his honesty. We will consider this complaint resolved and close the file.
