If I could give zero stars, I would. Applied for an $600 loan and no interest rates were disclosed, couldn't and still cannot find the interest rate on my account. I do know that a loan of $600 has turned into a $2500 after I looked at how long my monthly payments would be, is this even legal? This company should not be in business. Fraud! Stay away!

AWL American Web Loan company is full of fraud. My bank account somehow received a ****** deposit without signing up or requesting this. i didn't realize this until 4 months later seeing a withdrawal from them that said AWL. i instantly called the 800 number and was told i did sign up for this and that i still owed over *******. after arguing with the man on the phone i told him i was going to my bank and closing my account. my bank knew i was not in any situation financially that would need any type of web loan they had. so they closed my account and transferred everything into a new account and documented the fraud. they also gave me the money back above the ****** that AWL had already taken. saying this they are still harassing me to this day. i am going to have to hire an attorney and meet them in court. i am sick of this. and the lady for the collection agency they sent this to which i just spoke to told me there was no emails 20 years ago. are you kidding me? AWL is not a reasonable company at all. and it seems their collection agency group isn't either. i will see if they send me court papers any time soon.

American web loan denied me of a loan because I live in pa and I am now seeing that they were not legal and I have been getting a loan from them for years now

Dont ever get a loan from them America Web Loan. 564% interest rate. If you get a $2300 loan youll be paying over $10,000. I was I need of money cause of personal issues but didnt know Ill get scam or get hit with a high interest rate. Its a company that will make you go bankrupt and put you in a bigger debt. They wont help you . Theyll take advantage of the less vaurnable. I repeat stay away from this loan company or youll regret it. Think I have to file a lawsuit before I get rob

If I could give this company a negative rating I would! This company IS a scam and takes advantage of people. I borrow $800 with a low APR when I signed documentation, WHAT THEY DON'T TELL YOU IS THEY SKYROCKET THE APR. I have an interest rate of ******%, I will be paying back 4x my loan borrowed. This company is CRIMINAL and they should be shut down completely. I advise anyone who is needing any financial help DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! They will literally **** your pockets and take you for everything you got! They will also take out of your account and still state that you have not paid.

I did business with them last year and was fine but somehow this year I didnt see that they had skyrocketed their APR% I borrowed a measly $900 due to and emergency and now I have to pay $6,000?! Like thats not okay. I dont know what to do at this point other pay for this and never use from them again

Disaster. Not friendly at all. It was a very bad experience!

This company calls me daily about a loan I did not take out. I asked for proof and they send nothing. They sent me affidavits to fill out with no information on them. I tell them if you do noy send me proof of this loan then stop calling or I will get a lawyer involved

The company completely takes advantage of its customers. I called to check on my account because I do care about my bills and the representative informed me that my loan would close out on Friday June 24th 2023. It was a simple phone call no problems why wanted to make double sure so I called back and asked another representative and she said because I had deferment that I've still got more payments to come out in July. I've been paying $103 every 2 weeks for what seems like forever. And then she's going to call the confusion is on my part I let her know quickly that the confusion was not on my part that I went by what the previous representative had stated to me. Yes I did have a deferment because of Life circumstances but I'm finding out that even life circumstances is sheer punishment when it comes to companies like this. I want to make myself very clear the previous representative went over my whole account with me and did a thorough job. The confusion was not on my part or her part the confusion laid with the customer service representative that I spoke with today. And I let her know that. They do record their calls and it would have took all of just a few minutes to get a supervisor on the line to verify what was told to me yesterday by the previous representative and the lack of customer service that came from the lady today. Very frustrating to say the least. Exhaust all of your options before getting mixed up with a company of this caliber unless you absolutely have no other choice this should be your last choice.

They have called me over 8 times a day in regards to a loan a took out in August of 2022. Yesterday was 11 times! They call me 7 days a week as well. This has got to be harassment at this point. Never use this place.
