01/03/2019 -Deborah Scott ********************** executed a Trust, Will and Power of Attorney for my mother:******************* ***********************.On March 15th, 2019, myself, my mother, Ms. ********************** along with two witnesses and a Notary Public; met at Ms. **********************' firm and signed mentioned documents. Because there had been some minor changes such as misspellings or incorrect names we were NOT given any copies on this day. We were sent an email copy of the Power of Attorney (me) only after I called numerous times to obtain one due to an upcoming open heart surgery my mother was undergoing. We were NOT given or sent ANY more finalized completed documents. After several phone messages I was told we owed a balance for fees. I paid these fees and balance owed to Ms. ********************** by check in person January 2020. I was told ORIGINAL copies would be mailed to us (my mother's Address).My mother passed away from Covid-19 on March 7th, 2021. Since that date I was called, left messages, showed up in person numerous times. A sign on her office said she would be closed from October to January 2023. Since January 3rd. I have called every number I have, left messages and went in person to her office twice daily. I have even contacted other attorney's in Stillwater to see if they had any information. Ms. **********************' office is locked and no lights are on. I was told that she had made a court appearance...so she IS still practicing law. I would like these original documents immediately. I have desperately needed these for the handling of my mother's estate, of which I am the trustee and beneficiary.In November of 2022 ***** Fargo Mortgage requested copies of the Trust and Will so that they could start the process of transferring ownership. the stated they CANNOT do this without these documents, They are now saying foreclosure process will start unless I submit the documents.Ms. ********************** has not responded to any of my communications. I have also sent registered mail to her which I received confirmation.
