In 2018, I signed a lease with (now) Look Properties LLC. I paid 1st months rent + deposit & moved all possessions into the unit over the weekend of aug 31 sept 2, 2018. On Sept 3, 2018, an unknown vehicle parked under our carport at which point my husband (then fiance) & driver of the vehicle exchanged conversation. During which, this man introduced himself as *********************** and informed husband that he owns the business next *********** our property & during the hours of 8 am 5 pm MON-FRI, he is to park under our carport. Nobody from Look ever mentioned this & neither did our lease. Obviously confused, my husband called Look, assuming theyd agree that the owner is over-stepping & would back us up because of our lease. Look tells us that our inability to use a significant portion of our residence during most of the daylight hours is actually a stipulation to live here so, we have no choice but to live with it. Were a single income family w/ an infant so relocating for a 2nd time wasnt viable for us. In Dec 2021 we opted not to renew our lease early when requested from Look. Shortly thereafter, were informed the owner is selling the ************* are expected to start showing the property, with my newborn baby and during a COVID pandemicwe cooperate. They sell, were forced to relocate & move out Aug 1st 2022. Aug 2022 I ask Look about deposit they ask for our forwarding address & say they always send at least something back, but have 45 days from end of lease to do so. Alright, cool. Approx. Sept 15th 2022 I call to ask if deposit check had been mailed out yet. They call back & inform me my deposit was returned to property owner w/out my knowledge or consent. Since the owner sold the property as is or with agreements in their realty contract, any repairs made as a result of that contract are independent of my lease agreement and deposit paid to Look Properties. *************************, the owner of Look Properties, has ignored my recent requests for response

Tenant rented a home from Look Properties & renewed several times. Home had shared parking with doctor's ****** next door. Parking situation was made a part of the tenant's lease & they were not allowed to park under the car port during very specific times, M-F. See the attachment "******* Parking" wherein tenant admits the parking situation is a part of her lease agreement. ****** advised in January 22 they would be moving & not renewing their lease. See attachment "******* moving." Property subsequently listed for sale March 22 with a third-party brokerage. Look Properties had no control of the sale or showing schedule. Listing agent was given tenant's contact information & told to directly arrange showings with the tenant. Tenant's lease terminated July 31, 2022. Closing of the real estate transaction was August 15, 2022. The owner's elected to perform their own "make-ready" to prepare home for new owners. Prior to August 15,2022, Look Properties transferred the tenant's security deposit to the Owner. In September, 2022, Look Properties put the Owner and the Tenant together to communicate regarding the tenant's deposit return. See the owner's response at the bottom of the attachment "******* Response from Owner." ****** left a mattress, a box springs, a couch, and other items in the home &garage & curbside that had to be hauled off. Additionally, tenant was in charge of lawn care but lawn was in poor condition with the back yard tall, containing debris, & multiple volunteer trees around fence line & the ** unit and/or up against the home. The tenant's dog, which was aggressive, destroyed a few doors in the home that had to be replaced and not refinished. Our ****** has over 75 move-out photos should anyone like to see them. We also have the original move-in photos prior to the tenant taking possession. Tenant is unhappy with the charges but she has been communicated with and she did leave items and damage at the property.
