I reached out to the office on multiple occasions to have the leaking in my ceiling fixed back in April/2022. We are now in July and nothing still has changed. Maintenance would come by to look at it. Cut into the ceiling and now when neighbors running water in the tub. Water is leaking from 2 different spots. Contractor has come by but not able to fix it unless leaks are fixed. No one has come by in the last 2 weeks. I pay too much rent to not be able to use my shower/tub. You can see there is mold in the hole where the water is leaking from on the other side water leaks from the pipe that needs to be replaced.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/07/13) */ According to our records, on June 6th, the stems were replaced in the apartment upstairs, tub and the area and the area was cleaned out of microbial growth. The contractor for sheet rock repair did miss the order for repair, so will be setting up again with them.Initial Complaint

I moved into Somerset apartments on 1/15, and within 2 hours of receiving my keys I learned that complex has a cockroach infestation. I found 12 cockroaches, and told the apartment complex. The landlord said it most likely won't get better because some residents don't allow spraying. When I told the complex I did not want to live there because of this, they told me I would need to pay the termination fee of $1,398. I feel since they're providing an unsafe living environment that is not going to be improved, I should not have to do so. My goal of contacting you is to not pay $1,398 to terminate my lease. I have attached a timeline on what happened, a few pictures of the roaches in my apartment, and my lease where it states termination info.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/02/08) */ This resident was released out of his lease with us and all money is being refunded back to him due to the unknown issue with bugs in that unit.
