            I began utilizing Paws on Pearl Day Care for my almost 2 yr old male boxer. I paid cash the first few times he went and then based on the 2022 rate changes pre-purchased 1/2 day packages - $90 on December 08, 2021 and $240.00 on December 20, 2021. Additionally my son purchased a package of 1/2 day passes for me for Christmas 2021. On January 18, 2021 I inquired with staff what my account balance was and at that time they identified I had 58 1/2 days available. On January 18, 2021 the news and videos of animal neglect and abuse surfaced for this business. I have attempted to speak with the business owner for a refund of my money and have been sent away based on his not being available and the business being under stress based on the horrific information released on their treatment of animals. All I want is my money back for services they did not provide. No where on the website or while doing the transactions was I told the purchase was non refundable; in fact when I purchased I asked if my pup was not a good fit for the establishment if I could be refunded and they said yes. The lowest daily rate would be $8 for a half day - $464.00 should be refunded to me.

            The owners of Paws on Pearl covered up felony animal abuse and kept a known abuser on staff as kennel manger for over 1 year. To make matters worse, the owners kept 100% of all client tips left for the Kennel Attendants and have publicly admitted this on their business Facebook page using the excuse that "tipshare math is too difficult" even though restaurants do this daily. I was a customer here for years and I'm so disappointed.
