      Excellent Furniture Repair Company My Lay-Z-Boy Recliner after 13 years of service experienced one of the footrest motors becoming inoperative. It was my pleasure dealing with Furniture Services of America out of Tulsa, Oklahoma and they ordered an original Lay-Z-Boy footrest motor and within 3 weeks my recliner was up and running again. The technician (Lewis) called before arriving and was well within the 2 hour window for arrival. The repair was professionally done, and I highly recommend using Furniture Services of America out of Tulsa, Oklahoma for all your furniture repair needs.       April 25th 2023 they had charged me 89.99 just so a tech could come out to fix half my couch he then informed me that he will note what is wrong with the couch so office can find the part and to just have it sent to me so I can repair it myself. So I wouldn't have to pay 89 again I said sure it was an electrical problem the ring the goes around the cup holder. They had me thinking that they had the right part but will charge me 89 again for a tech to come out and do it, that I can't just order it as I was told I could in the first place. I refuse to have a tech come out again to unplug something and plug the new one in for $90 so finally after constant arguing and denyingthats what the tech said I could do. They finally agreed to send the part instead for $10. When the part finally arrived that I paid $50 ($60 total) for it was just two plastic cup holders nothing I even needed for the electrical issue so I tried to see if I could have items returned and they just send me the correct items as needed or my money back and they refused unless I paid them more. They then refused to give me record of notes that was written down or techs name unless I paid for that too. This place is a scam please believe all other reviews and take your money and time elsewhere

      We have had a tech out twice to look at the mechanics of an electric reclining end of a sectional that stopped working. It was fixed and worked less than 24 hours. Today was the second time the tech came out and when he was there with the recliner on its side using his tool to make it work, of course it worked fine. It doesn't work fine when it is in its normal position. Instead of just replacing the recliner they are ordering another part which will take 4 weeks to get here (I've already been waiting a month for this visit, this whole ordeal has been going on since January). Then they will call to get yet another tech visit scheduled. Just replace the recliner already and save yourselves some gas and your customer the inconvenience of not being able to use the recliner/sectional they paid good money for. Not to mention when the tech tried to contact me this morning I was not able to answer (I'm a nurse and was with a patient, I would have called him back very shortly) the girl at the office called and left a voicemail with a rather rude tone telling me I need to call back or the tech will skip my stop. If I could give you negative 4 stars I would.

      The first trip out to this customer this chair had somehow had syrup spilled onto the arm (It was either sprayed on there or cleaned up before we got there) and it was all over the power supply. The tech replaced the power supply and the chair worked fine while the tech was in the house. The second time we were out, he found that due to the syrup being inside the arm the control switch on the chair was now shorting out. He did order another part, being nice because technically this would be considered abuse by the warranty company due to no syrup being on the outside. It was either sprayed on there or cleaned up before we got there the first time, at which point voids the warranty. Furniture Services does not decide if the furniture is replaced or not that is up to the warranty company. We were trying to help and the customer even argued with the tech saying that it was not caused by the syrup. As far as contacting the customer, we started attempting to get a hold of the customer at 9:08, again at 9:30, he then sent a text at 10:00 AM due to the length of the drive the tech was trying to get a hold of the customer before just rescheduling them, at which point he called the office and had the office try to get her on the phone and finally the tech received a text right after that. She never stated anything to him about anyone at the office being rude. The customer herself was unable to be there because of work, we always try to accommodate someone to make the time for both parties.

      The first time the tech was out there he specifically told us the problem was NOT due to the syrup which my child accidentally spilled on the couch (kids have accidents). Nobody tried to clean it up because we didn't even know it was there. I can look at my phone records detailing exactly how many times and when the tech tried to call me, the customer. Of course my mother, who was there to meet the tech, wouldn't say anything to him about the rude office person because she didn't talk to the office person, I did. I appreciate the tech ordering the part to replace the control switch on the chair, but it is 4/18/22 and we still have yet to see the part.
