      Quote was provided on March 27th 2021. The job was started at the end of April 2021 and then the company stopped the job midstream, due to rising gas prices and because they were quote waiting on another contractor to finish their job, but the area that the other contractor was working was only a small area and the gutter contractor still had plenty of work that would have been done and was not being held up by other contractor. The gutter contractor finally showed up to resume work in mid late June to mid July but has failed to complete the projects that they were paid in full for at the company owners request and have failed to respond to any attempts at recent contact. Andrew the Gutter Guy failed to finish installing all the leaf guards, deal with a rain / leak issue from gutter installation, only did a single part of the French drain and failed to install last downspout and downspout inserts. We have already hired different contractors to finish the job that was left unfinished.

      Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2021/10/04) */ Upon scheduled install house was not 100% ready for gutters. Due to communication errors job was not able to be completed. Last communication with consumer was requesting loose ends be finished up but never heard back after that till BBB complaint. I have reached out to consumer to discuss complaint and will issue a partial refund. Consumer Response /* (3000, 12, 2021/10/08) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The company is correct that the house wasn't totally ready for gutters upon them starting the project, but the only area that was not ready was a straight run of approximately 30 feet with 2 downspouts. The company was made aware that the back porch was not completed and wasn't going to be completed when they started the job ahead of starting the job. For the record there was no communication errors because the company have said that they would be out on a specified day and multiple times they failed to show on that day. The company stopped showing up on the job site after receiving full payment at their request to make their vehicle payment and due to spike in gas prices with statement that once the back porch was done they would show up and complete entire job which they were notified when back porch was completed and failed to make it out to finish the job at that time. When the company stopped showing up to finish job because job site wasn't totally ready there was still plenty of work that was left to be done that the company was not hindered or prevented from completing due to the section of job area that was not ready. The company never tried to contact me per my phone log or message log on Facebook Messenger since last part of July nor did they respond to my requests during that time frame for job completion. The company committed verbal and in text to do things that were probably not included on the invoice, but that lack of inclusion was the companies choice. When I brought up the items that were agreed to be done but wasn't done the company said "they were going to do that for free to help us out" but they never said that before that point in time. The company has as of October 8th, 2021 have mentioned a partial refund but I have yet to receive any refund. I will grudgingly accept the companies partial refund (I say grudgingly due to I think that the amount of refund should be higher due to what company agreed to do but failed to do and company says that drainage was done by linear foot but they had no unit of measure listed on their invoice) once I have received but I won't accept the companies response till the refund is received. I will accept once the refund has been received !
