Built a home and moved in during September, 2020. We've been trying to get the 1 year punch list items completed for almost a year and Castlerock or its' contractors are not completing the work agreed upon or returning our phone calls. We need and it was agreed that Castlerock would: get roof repair from snow build up and subsequent leaking, touch up paint and leave extra paint for us to use in future touch ups, get a vent or something installed on the fireplace to keep ash and embers from blowing into our living room, get hot water to the master tub. We submitted a written list in the form of an email well before our year was completed and have been trying to get these four issues fixed to our satisfaction since late last year. To date, these items have not been fixed or addressed to our satisfaction and the contractors are telling us that we'll have to pay for the repairs since it's been over a year. We removed 5 gallon buckets of snow from the attic, have no paint to do touch ups and the touch ups that have been made are not the same color or type of paint finish so they stand out like a sore thumb, there is not hot water in the master tub and we have blowing ash and embers from the fireplace because they haven't installed the correct type of venting leading to a fire hazard.Business response

They have also scheduled appointments only to show up with a note on the door stating don't ring doorbell and text this number. They texted the number with no response and left. Very difficult to schedule. Is the client cleaning the ashes out when not using. They have a time scheduled next week to look at it again. Custom roofing solutions - The vents are the same vents used on every house. The vents do not leak. When we had a fine blowing blizzard snow, it blew up or accumulated around the vents. This is not a vent problem. We have followed up after large rains and no leaks. The only issue was when we had the blizzard of snow accumulating in areas of the roof. The roofer has asked the owner to provide whatever vents he wants to buy and he will swap out for free. The owner says he is not buying any vents. Laco custom painting - Leftover paint was left at closing and the owner used it all and threw away after attempting to do some touchup months after living there. He used the wrong sheen of paint on areas and didn't do proper touchup and made it worse. My painters at the 1 year warranty spent 2 days touching up the 1 year settling warranty items and worked on a few of the clients re touch up of what he messed up.He can pay the painters to fix what he messed up.
