We had our house we were purchasing inspected by ****** Inspections on 9/15/2021. The report included some small things that needed to be done, with a few bigger things such as grounding the gas lines in the attic. The inspection report claims the inspector thoroughly tested the HVAC system (heating/cooling) and the gas fireplace. It also stated that the water heater was tested thoroughly as well. This was not the case because the inspector was in the attic the whole time the hot water was running to be "tested". We are now facing major problems with our house and we do not have any source of heat as the furnace does not work, the fireplace does not work and there is no way it was tested for functionality as the wires to ignite it aren't even connected. We are also facing issues with out water heater giving us about 2 minutes of hot water and then going cold for 5-15 minutes before attempting to warm up again. It's also putting off a smelly gas like odor which was tested for carbon monoxide by ONG and tested fine, however ONG did say the water heater is back drafting which it should not be doing. I have been in contact with Parker Inspections and they refuse to do anything about it and stand by their original inspection that was very poor. We basically paid them $460 for a bad inspection that left us with major problems that will cost a lot of money to have fixed.
