Yes hi! I reserved a room from June 18th to the 20th at the Hyatt Regency at 100 E 2nd street. I called to cancel because my daughter caught hands, foot, and mouth disease and they told me to go through ******* and I did. I cancelled w them and didn't realize I only cancelled w the protection of my stay. I've tried to call and get them to give me the number to ******* and they couldn't find it. Until I got an email of them telling me I can't get my 365$ Back in refund. I have a daughter to take care of and times are hard and they are trying to keep my money. Please help me!Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2022/07/19) */ Based on customer's comments and confirmed by hotel this reservation was made through *********** as an advance purchase through ************ When this happens, all financial transactions are handled by the 3rd Party vendor ********** The hotel receives payment from the vendor ********* by way of a virtual credit card. The hotel never receives the guest's personal information which also includes the guest's credit card information. As a result, the hotel has no way to refund the transaction as the guest is actually a customer of that vendor ********* and not of the hotel. This is why the guest is directed back to the 3rd party vendor for payment/refund questions. Once the guest gets resolution from the vendor then a 3rd party vendor ********** ******* will then contact the property and seek approval and to ensure the virtual card ******* provided for payment of the guest's reservation will be refunded. If approved, the hotel will refund ********** virtual credit card and then ******* should refund the guest. ************** 24 hours customer suppoert line (easy search on google) is 1-800-Expedia.
