Was a victim of substantial misrepresentation and deceptive practices. Was taken advantage of due to covid, paid for their services to assist with debt consolidation. Was not advised that they wouldn't make payments to creditors, and was not advised they collect a $25,000+ fee BEFORE they act on my behalf and negotiate debt. None of my debts were resolved after almost three years and my fee was paid; cancelled the program because no actions were taken in their behalf and they advised me that not a penny of my fee was refundable. Again, I've paid over $25000 in fees for them to do nothing. All that exchanged was my money into their acct...not once was a debt resolved. Or even a call made from them to a creditor. It was a victim of fraud, unfair and deceptive practices.Business response

I entered into an agreement with Global Client Solutions on 05/10/2019 for 36 months for $150 a month to consolidate my debt. Their rep chose the bills from all of my bill that should be added and why. I increased the payment to $250 12 months in to get the program over quicker, but nothing seemed to move any faster. And then I increased it to $1050 and 02/0121 i increased it to $1300 a month to be done with it. because they had already told me that they were unable to negotiate with ************ and that it would me my responsibility to pay the ************ if I wanted paid. I should have been done paying this off back in 11/01/2020, but they said that I still have debt and I just made my last payment 8 months past the 36 months that they set for the program plus I was paying close to 100 time what I agreed upon.Business response

I signed up with another debt solutions company to help me settle a debt with a credit card of mine. They apparently sold my account to Global Client Solutions when they went under. I was paying the original company money that they transferred over to Global Client Solutions. I have tried multiple times through out 2020, 2021, and now 2022 to get a hold of these Global Client Solutions people. Finally, today I actually got to talk to somebody. They told me that my account has been closed and that I signed an agreement that I don't get my money back. I didn't sign any paperwork with them. They closed my account without me cancelling or telling them to close it and NOTHING has been done with any of the money they took from me over 5 years and NOTHING has been done with my credit card company except they are wage garnishing me for payment of this card. They have STOLEN over $5000 from me and when I want to speak to a manager about them basically saying we don't have to give your money back even thought they didn't do what they said they would do with credit collectors. This company is bunch of lying thieves. DO NOT Sign up with this company.Business response

30 days ago it was requested from Global to cancel my account. I have never received a response and looking at my bank statement dated 03/07/2022 Global charged me $292.09. They never closed my account they are trying to embezzle full amount instead of the correct final amountBusiness response

I was contacted by Global Client Solutions to help pay my creditors at a lesser amount than I owed they told me to pay them 250.15 per month for approximately 6! Months and they would get my creditors to lower my credit cards and pay them off , I didn't pay anymore on my cards thinking they would help me reduce my debt they took my money my credit is in collections . I have some of my accounts for over 4-6 years with a few late payments but not in collections as they are now sue to this company making promises to help me pay down lower my payments and get paid off accounts sooner this never happened I made several phone calls to them with no response or returning of my moneys paid to them .they said I could stop payments without penalty's. They refused to return any of my money I had paid them directly from my bank account as ACH transactions, saying that was there fees? I had surgery on my back and was unable to pay or catch back up on my accounts that were current before I started working with this company? I am not sure how to do anything about how I was treated and how to put my credit back in good standing? Or get my money back? Please help.Business response
